They'll probably work on the clipping issues with the skirt. Not many here probably remember this, but there was a problem with the leotards for about a month after the game released where your boobs would poke through the mesh fabric if you were at all well endowed. A number of the women in my entertainers guild had "breast reductions" from IDs just so they'd fit into them. Anyway, they did fix the clipping issues (fairly quickly, actually), so a bunch of them then had to get their bustlines reinflated. It was pretty funny.
The point being, they probably will fix this, too. I'm actually pleasantly surprised that they did add in some new content for the entertainers and tailors. Both of my professions have been virtually ignored for 14 months, so today was a pretty good SWG day for me, all in all! Been a while since I could say that.
In the meantime, the skirt does look pretty darn good. Try wearing one that isn't a really strong contrast to your skin tone (I'm human and wearing a baby pink one atm; it's adorable), and the clipping issues aren't quite so crazy.

very good idea with colors I will try it when I get home today, thanks.
Also please don’t misunderstand me, I’m very happy we finally got something and had a blast yesterday with it all.
And it is true, bugs are expected and hopefully will be fixed
Lol I don’t remember the problem with leotard you mentioned, darn I miss all the fun stuff :-p

Slave skirt, I loved it while I was holding court, but the moment I start dancing it seems to have some strange Cinderella mid-night effect and turns in to rags full of holes.
Also I’m little confused of why exactly is it taped to my ankles, I know we have to use body-tape to ensure many of our blouses (or what is left of them) stay in proper places but I never thought to use body-tape on my ankles (didn’t get the memo about this new fashion also).

I believe the reason whythe slave skirt is attached to the ankelsis the same reason we don't see free-flowing capes and cloaks. All clothing is attached to the main model for movement, even the dresses exhibit this behavior.

Oh....well that explains it then lol They are remarkableexamples of their kindsort of like of like the old japanese katanas that had their steel folded thousands of times for durability

Just have to go off topic here -- those swords weren't folded thousands of times, that's a common misconception. The result of the folding process could be equal to a thousand layers, but to accomplish that you only have to fold it like ten times... think 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, since the amount of layers double each time you fold. Furthermore, the reason to fold wasn't to add durability, it was to "smooth out" the carbon concentration in the steel.

I have heard from a friend of mine that they weren't always a s durable as reputation would have people believe. Some were realy good and some were just lousy, i supose depending on the craftsmanship involved.

The new cloak is very nice but walking in to Coronet Spaceport made me worry that I may have accidentally stumbled over a Jawa convention or something, everyone was wearing one and they all had them in black (if dark colors are in fashion this season I sure didn’t get the memo) so I asked my tailor for one in white.

But honestly what really makes me mad is the fact that we can’t wear any of the interesting tops and bottoms for the new races.
It’s not fair *cry*
Few of the pants look very close like bell-bottoms and I have always wanted bell-bottoms.

Deli'ah

yeah I made factory crates of the hooded cloaks. LOL black and brown ones. I'd venture to guess they have all sold already.I should have charged 50k per cloak! LOL

The skirt is pretty, I dance with it anyways... all of tailors in JTL mentioned the problems of the skirt many times to the devs. One thing to keep in mind when you see all the new clothes....

Tailors were NOT supposed to get all the added items like the revealing skirt, and hawtpants.... the devs added these in for us. This was JTL's time... nottailor, not dancer. However as busy as the devs were while working on JTL they still found the time to add in clothing schematics and new flourishes. The new flos look so cool if you have an ithorian dancer! Honest.. try making an ith dancer on another server and see how cool the new flos look when they dance them.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised how cute the Ithorians really are. I played one in JTL and they run so gracefully and look so darn cool. They even have nice cute lil' tight behinds. LOL

So just please remember that the skirt and other items were added in for the benefit of all and were not planned to go in originally. Only so much they can do. At some point, hopefully they will take another look at it but for now, just wear it and have fun or wear something else.

Thank you Chiana, that's exactly right. We're thrilled we were snuck a cookie, and there wasn't really time to fix any problems We hope that the tailors are given some love shortly, and I think it will be a priority to fix the bugged skirt.

I haven't been able to get mine off the ground yet... Vandessa says they are supposed to be like Dancer version "BH Jetpacks", but mine just sit there and look cool on me so far...

*sob* Somehow I don't get my tailors to craft me on eof those... guess to ´really got what you want you need to be tailor. Bye, bye fencer, it was fun with you... you never helped me much against my guilds archenemies but the swashbuckler style together with dancer was always fun...

The winged hawtpants do take 400 hides to make so maybe alot of tailors don't have stacks of hides. I don't know... I always have tons of hides because of my in game husband

I can't get hides for nothing. Everyone I order hides from just never gets around to "wasting" there time getting hides that aren't worth much. So I am way down...I have no wooly NO WOOLY /pout and its horrible. Can't even do a factory run of anything clothing wise. So I have very little on my vendor now. (I've been trying to get hide for 6 months)

They are so special you can only use the very best, and very small part of every hide.
