Ok is this a wish-list or a real list for brainstormed ideas that the devs will be taking seriously?

I would not advocate any form of buff that enhanced force regeneration or anything that would help Jedi. Thats too close to helping a dedicated combat profession getting something they would percieve as 'needed', and would in turn bring misery upon entertainers.

It is a brainstorming thread from which the devs have gathered some ideas and are preparing them for implementation. In the future they will likely be referring to this thread for additional Inspiration ideas, as well. Whether wish-list or brainstorming..they will be taking the ideas presented here under consideration.

This is not actually a buff idea, but an idea about a dancer ability:
A (master) dancer has a better feeling for people than other people, thus she get additional info examining people: Faction and faction rank, PvP ranking, force status (same as /check, but for other people), Force Ranking if the other is a Jedi, and wealth of the character (measured on basis of credits, but not the actual sum of credits is given, just one of four different wealth levels or so).
None master dancers may have less precise info or not all of this info. This may work possibly only if the entertainer is entertaining and the subject is watching/listening.

hmmmm
How about people could get some more of the last two kind of XP they got? Nothing much, fewer than they could earn in the same time and limited to a certain amount. This would turn things around, people would have to come to us *before* they do what they are doing, but afterwards to relax.
Or... people could have an aura assertiveness. To decide wether or not an NPC or creature attacks the player with that assertiveness she is treated as if being 25 combat levels higher (for a master dancer), but never higher than 80. This way crafters could survey planets and maintain their harvesters that would be just to dangerous any other way.
PS: Maybe it is easier to formulate it the other way around. The assertiveness makes creatures up to level 15 higher than you not aggro you even if they are hostile. This only works for players being level 55 and lower. Higher level players recieve less until nothing at levell 80.

I was thing of this after I responded to an entertainer-related post in the AS forum (about what us AS's want from entertainer buffs).
With so many interesting ideas for buffs, why not incorporate many of them.
To add a bit of variety it could be set up that each different type of song or dance gives a different type of buff (or catagory of dance/song).
So Starwars1 would be the same catagory as Starwars2, etc.
An example would be the Inspiration Buff (as it currently is) would come from either the Basic Dance or the Starwars music.
The new TK-related Dance would give a slight combat edge (buff).
Another type of music/song would give a 'sneaky' buff that would effect Mask Scent/Camoflage (that would enable us crafters to get to our harvesters... nothing like the 'Mission Impossible' song dancing through ones' mind while trying to be sneaky.).
My 2 credits,

The problem of this is that it restricts creative performances. Entertainers by and large have said they don't want to stop the performance they want to do to do a certain dance for a certain buff.
