Wow, go away for a week-ish and this happens. I dare say I've met my match.
Good work Eaca, I'm impressed. And it's not easy to impress me with SWG macro stuff.
I think I know how this is done. It's something I've thought of in the past. At the time I was thinking of having an "assistant" program (Which technically wouldn't be interacting directly with SWG at all - it would just be writing a series of alias files that a macro would read and use.) but I think I can see how it could be modified to work directly. As someone said, reverse engineering is easier. I've already figured out how I could modify my idea to do most of the same stuff, if not all the same stuff. The only hurdle, and the reason I never tried before, is I was having problems with the command response time. But I think I have a work-around for that. (Needless to say I'll be trying tonight.
)
The macro system in SWG is more powerful than most people realize. (Fortunately the bots fall well into that most people category. I've known stuff for a long time that would give the buff-bots wet dreams.)

I have to admit that I got some of my inspiration from you Tiaga. After seeing your buff timer alias you taught me I was looking at aliases in the wrong way. They're not command line macros, not sure what exactly they are, since I can't think really of an equivalent data structure in any conventional programing languages. Once I freed myself from my narrow view I was able to concieve my dance macro system, which tracks certain clothing items so the smoke changes equip/uneqip and most importantly don't unequip when it shouldn't. After that I conceived this, when you try it yourself I know of a barrier you will face, one that seems insurmountable, lets see how you handle it

I guess... but that requires me to step out of my tent

Before long you two are going to know their code better than the devs do.

As far as thier macro system goes we've already far surpassed what they invisioned would be possible...

Tiaga and I discovered a very bad security hole that almost made me decide to drop this project as there was no way around it. I think I have a way now to bypass the problem while at the same time implimenting extra security. Security bug was bad and is the main reason I haven't had C-aR on in the last few days...
