What's the deal on group size going forward? Is it still 8? Is there any hope that it will be set to a more reasonable number for entertainers in the future?

8 person groups are set in stone. Entertainers are being "looked into" for larger group sizes.... Kind of like AFK is being "looked into" and the possibility of an entertainer revamp is being "looked into".

It is obvious to me the direction the game is going. Sadly, its all about NEW customers. I dont think anyone has a problem seeing that.
As much as I love my entertainers, the fact is that the primairy money makers, paying subscribers...are going to be combatants.
8 people groups stink IMO. it was one of the very 1st issues i brought up when the CU hit...

Is that the same hope for a Hutt Casino or the same hope that we will get an Entertainer Revamp in 2005 like they told us, or the same hope that they will remove the ability to afk macro nearly ever profession in this game from start to finish using the ingame system as free reign to use 3rd party macros ?
Or is this some sort of new kind of hope that doesn't involve the use of Soon™ ?

This is a different issue in a different spot in queue than the things you mentioned. This is a totally new item that is being looked into for the first time. There is of course the chance that it will get shelved like some of our past items have, but it has not been shelved yet.
Given that this is probably not an enormous undertaking, it probably won't have to fight for resource time like some other things have had to. So yes, this probably really will come down the pipes in about two months like they are planning. Maybe even sooner if somebody gets the time to code it earlier.

Yes the wrath of the great and mighty me... Ahhh pfft I just don't have it in me today. I'm sick. The whole CU leaves me feeling ill on top of that... AND I have another Nephew

So here is my wrath for the day...
Just because I think yoda is an evil Sith lord AND that I think he was very dark and pessamistic, nor that I happened to get my nick name from talking yoda like but with dark twisted phrases... doesn't make me a "him"(sadly some where along the way my yoda voice just up and went very wrong so now it sounds more like Kermit... just sad...)
But tis ok I have learned to deal with it over the years using the nick name.

Well, if you can work it a little further toward Miss Piggy and mix up the sentence structure a little....
