I have GOT to be able to buff my own mind. It's just that simple. Whatever the problem is, fix it. I can heal my mind so obviously i can watch myself. GET THIS FIXED NOW!
It's absolutely ridiculous that I can't buff my own mind. Completely beyond unacceptable and must be fixed right flippin now!

Yep, if we poke the Devs anymore on this one they might explode. 
... we can put it in our question for TH next week though.

Not just dancers, but musicians, also. Roho can never seem tofind another master musican anywhere on Naboo to buff his secondaries and we end up having to go to Coronet whether that was our intention or not (this is a bad time of year for a lot of players with school/college year-end). Hey, I'd even put up with it taking 10 minuted to buff my own mind if that would appease the devs' oddsense of equity!

The devs have likened the entertainer buff to being in anightclub witha live band... everyone knows you come out hyped.. I play guitar IRL (like many people) and have done in a band as well, and the feeling is just as good on stage as off. If there was some conceptual reason not to allow it, then this post is a reason for it.
Having said that, I know the reason they haven't is a technical one, and I sure hope they fix it. A doc can buff themselves, why not an entertainer?

I think i'm going to start filing a bug ticket everytime i dance and don't get a mind buff. this is so completely unacceptable. I enjoy PvP and I also enjoy dancing. is there some reason why we've alowed the two to be mutually exclusive for so long? A balanced play style will discourage burn out and offer people greater diversity to the activities they can choose to participate in but for some reason I feel like we've been forced to chose. Either be social or be combat there seems to be no middle ground and as far as I'm concerned that's horse **edit**.
Reduce the amount of skill points required to master the entertainer proffs, alow us to be usefull to ourselves as well as to our friends and let us play the god damned game. don't keep us chained up inside the blasted cantina.

Agreed on the priority. A doctor can buff others and himself. I can buffs others and....hey wait a minute.
Instead of a fix we get....a dancing jawa foam spittingjukebox?

I'll tell you I can live with AFK, I can live with broken base dances, I can live with a lack of props and flourishes,I can deal with the completelyinadequate/deny command andthe complete inablitity to form any kind of realgroup performance. I cannot live without a mind buff. In fact i'm killed in exactly 3 shots. This has simply got to be fixed. Whatever theexcuse we've been given to explain this is a cop out. We can heal ouselves means we can watch ourselves. If we can watch ourselves we can buff ourselves. I refuse to accept the the developers of such a complex game are so incompetent that they can not fix this. They can, they should,the only remaining question is whether they will.

Ok, you need to start calling me...I will free pvp buff you faction or no. Also, Molly should be at most fights you are at... also, I know this isn't the point.

Just a reminder, they have said we can have this... it's just the ETA we don't know.
(so, PvP Dancer Guide? Go Silly go! We need one! ... also, NewJedi is helping test the "can't ent heal myself" bug)

I'll gladly help any live dancer who would like to get into PvP. It's been a game saving experience for me (if only i could buff my own mind-- and yes i do intend to mention this at least once a day until it is fixed).
BTW guys, live dancers who can hold thier own on the battle field are very muchneeded. I thought i'd lose friends if I pvp'ed but in all actuality i've made really tight bonds with the people I fight with, and for the most part the people i manage to kill don't seem to mind. I've got a lot of good friends who've killed me and whom i've killed and then we giggle about it in tells later.

Yeah, you just wait till we get a Hutt faction... I will be the most uber Hutt PvP battle Dancer eva!
