New expansion pack - looks like more content for the general population and perhaps some new ID changes based on the pictures.

Yeah, blah blah blah, whatever. Woo, Wookiee homeworld. More combat yumminess that I don't care about.

I only have the last expansion because someone up and got it for me, unless this one provides new content for entertainers, rather than just for combat folks and crafters like the last one, fuggetaboutit.

Wow. I'm bitter today!

Just back away from the gypsy and nobody needs to get hurt.

you're not the only one who is kinda bitter. I looked at that and thought "they've been working on a wookiee expansion when they have a huge part of their player base almost ready to up and walk away because their concerns haven't been addressed for over a year?"


Someone help me have faith, please, I'm losing mine.

Sorry, I haven't any to spare. Seriously - I haven't any . . . . I'm just about ready to walk away. This expansion is only the latest of the bitter fruit SOE has to offer us "social" types.

An expansion was inevitable...it is SOE's destiny...


It's their business model as the expansion will provide an economic shot in the arm of ready cash. Look at the EQ expansion publish rate. It's something "new" to entice old players to return and justify some more advertising. Not only that but..."Rage of the Wookiees"? Seriously, that is a really bad title. Some marketing dingus needs to catch a clue about the fiction surrondingWookiee culture. They are by and large "the good guys" so why use a title to characterize them as a violent culture? Yes I know about the arm pulling and what not, but I mean...really....Rage of the Rancors...sure...Rage of the Sith...I'll take that, but not Wookiees.


On a side note, I am always encouraged when a fellow entertainer gets a perk, so if the cyberneticattachements help the IDs make some money, they good deal.

I'll bet you anything that these 'cybernetic' limbs are either looted or crafted by someone OTHER than an ID, and that you can swap them in and out at will without the help of an ID. In short, I bet these cybernetic limbs won't involve IDs at all.

I don't think that is what they are trying to do, in fact even with out going to the link provided I'm 100% sure of it .. I don't recall exactly but hasn't the Empire praticaly enslaved the wookie race? Cancled all life Day celebrations and generally tryed to subjugate the wookiee race? Seems to me anyone with even vague knowlage of the worldsetting will understadn that easly.


I dunno about you but if they tryed to do something like that to my race I shure would be alittle inraged

The sad thing is.. your prolly 100% correct.. These things sound more like a Droid Engineer / Doctor thing to me..

I would love an entertainer expansion pack. I think we would probably need one to get the true entertainer professions we want. BUT, I do love any content that I can use. I'm happy for new ships, new weapons, new armor. Although I agree 100 percent the timing is misplaced, I still will be looking forward to it, and at least the wooks get something more. Maybe they'll even get clothes. Maybe I'm not as bitter, since I play several characters (all mains, no alts ) of different flavors and desperately want them all to have more content that is fitting for them.
