Thread: Well if our new buffs weren't enough to make you happy this sure should!
Well its finally happened. I've finally gotten our dev to agree to lower our action costs. At first he didn'tthink we where any different then musicians but with a little help from Slick we where able to point out the difference and he's agreed to change out action costs to put us on the same overall rate as the musicians!

Now let me explain whats going to be happening so your all clear. Our flourish action cost will NOT be changing, they will continue to cost the same as they do now in almost all cases, except for a few low level entertainer dances that actually will cost more, but don't worry! The base action cost for dancing will be coming down a lot. Even on those couple of dances thats flourish cost goes up you'll still be saving on overall cost a lot! And for you master dancers out there, be ready to be able to dance exotic and watch your action go up! (if your not flourishing I mean, ya know, like musicians can stop flourishing and rest their action up)
This change will not be happening however until the next big patch, so be patient! To repeat, our base action costs will be coming down to match musicians. (our flourish cost is already the same, 2 of their 5 second flourishes cost as much as one of our 10 second flourishes) If any of you weren't aware of it already our base action cost is around 180% what a musicians is, so this will be a big change for us.

And as far as medics are concerned... I would not worry, we master dancerswill use flourishes to drain our action pool if a medic is healing us - especially since the new mind buff requires us to keep flourishing almost constantly.

And another huge THANK YOU to our developer who was willing to be persuaded by evidence and a reasoned argument, and willing to change. Often the lack of willingness to do those things is what causes changes to be so long in implementation.
Overall I have to say I couldn't be more pleased with the level of work that you correspondents and the developers are doing to fix entertainer issues. The BEST profession in the game just keeps getting BETTER thanks to you guys.
