Ok, here's a couple of things I'd like to see the dancers be able to do.

Pole dance. Now, I'm not talking about grabbing the first polearm weapon out there and shaking it around with your rhymthic moves in order to keep your balance. Nope, I'm talking about honest-to-goodness pole dancing. Upside-down. Side-ways. Twirling. Spins. Floor moves. Getting sexy with it, you know?

Or how about a mud wrestling pit? Two buffed up women in skimpy clothes slinging mud all over the audience. I could go for doing that. Putting someone in a headlock with mud all over- hell yeah!

How about cheerleading outfits - SWG Style, of course?

Leopard skin-something-or-others for the men?

Breakdancing - complete with a piece of cardboard that adds +10 to your moves.

I don't know. Maybe I'm just a hopeful little dancing kitten who really wants this profession to be much more than it is now. Maybe I need another drink. /grab Jawa beer I'm such a happy drunk.

I suppose the fair thing to say here is that every player has the right to play the game as they want, however to me this kind of "enhancement" only further cheapens the dancer profession and turns it into little more than a horde of semi-strippers. I would never pole dance. I would never mud wrestle (as if that has any "dancer" value). I wouldnot alloweither to be done in my cantina and I would not frequent a cantina whereit was routine. Call me overly conservative, narrowminded, etc (it's not like I haven't hear all the names before ), but this is my opinion on it.

I'd settle for being able to dance on the tables or the bar... maybe spray Jawa beer on the audience... we can get a good "Coyote Ugly" thing going....

At thevery least, think of how much more space can be utilized in those crowded cantinas if the tables were more more than just an annoying waste of dance floor.

I think that this being a game and supposedly we're supposed to be having "fun", having some enhancements to the game would be great. Stripper or not, it's not unusual for a twi'lek who's wearing nothing but a pair of hawt pants and a barely-there top just barely covering her boobs, to have guys coming in appreciating her either in gentlemenly ways or vulgar ways. Like life, you can't control other people's actions - only your own. I choose to be a 'dancer' entertainer whatever that term means to me at this time. The exotic dance moves are already indicitive of stripper action - no way around that. So why not add more 'fun' to the game with more moves, exciting action and a way to generate more money? A way to get more people in the bar watching you? That's the whole point anyway and there's No harm in that. Call me open-minded, free-thinker or any other non-convservative name. I've been down that road many times and I quite enjoy the scenery. Besides, I'm sexy at home so why not on a game? But I applaud anyone for being who they are no matter their politics or personal preferences.

Maryja, Dancing on the tabletops or bars would be awesome! More waves, pointing and general "getting in their space" moves would be too cool. More flourishes that didn't look stupid would be great. Being able to combine all the dance moves would be awesome, too, but I guess you can already do that with a macro. Dunno. Haven't tried that.

Spraying water or beer on the audience would be a hoot! Sort of give the entire audience a +10 on their mind wounds all at the same time! And, btw, the mud wrestling was a joke as I didn't ever see that happening but I would like to see the pole dancing!

I personally LOVE the pole dancer thing

Part of the reason that I choose to be a dancer in this game is to express a part of me that I cannot in rl...

I am a mother of 2 small children and while I have the option of being a bit sexy at home - most of the time I am cleaning messes and feeding them.

I walk into that cantina and I become a sexy carefree person that LOVES to entertain people - and some people love to be entertained by half-naked twi'liks.

Man - if I could do pole dances - I would drop a cantina TOMORROW and call it a gentlemans club...enough said

Bria has a GC starting up. I've been to it once (they only open on Sat nights 8est). I have to say that it was very nice but a bit too crowded and only one private room (very very small). I believe there might be one starting on Eclipse but I'm not sure.

The GC experience is one that would have to be closely monitored by the club owners. These owners didn't allow for any filthy talk or abuses to their dancers (via chat or /emote). I found it a very relaxing and suprisingly fun atmosphere and will most likely go there again. But I would like to see more moves and more erotic and exotic clothing, tho

Pays pretty darn good! This club is for big spenders and big tippers! Not your average 500cr tip. More like 20K and up.

** /mumble darn! wish I had that waypoint on Tat

If you're on Bria, shoot me an email and I'll get you the WP

- How is this controlled? are you able to 'kick' people from a player cantina like you can from a house? or is this done In a house?

Is it the spatial chat that is controlled? is it the dancers personal discretion as far as /tells or private chat?

Thanks

yes you may kick just like a private house and ban just like a private house

if you have rooms for private dances they should probably go into group and keep a log if they are concered with any troubles or screenshot. If you have a ton of musicians you can even assign one to play in there for the dance. I've never had too many musicians though.
