You guys may remember RM asked us what title we would like if "Skilled Dancer" was changed. It's on test now and the winner is...

I have one question Panthu or anyone who can answer this: (from test center)


Profession: Dancer / Musician


  • Fixed performance buffs to add buff amount to current value instead of just maximum value.


    • What does this mean? I don't want to guess in case I screw it up

    Basically means the buff adds, for example with a person with 1000 mind buffed by a master dancer, 1000 extra mind pool points. Before it was just adding 1000 to the size of the mind pool, not actually adding the points in straight away so the buffee would have to wait for their mind to regenerate upto the new limit gained from the buff.


    I thought they'd already fixed that on live though? Maybe it's just me mixing up the patch notes.

    Oh, and yeah, those notes down towards the bottom are old... it's just the top section that's from today's test patch.

    The reason "Skilled Dancer" was changed was that there was a sweep to change all profession titles that were redundant. "Expert Bounty Hunter", "Skilled Dancer", "Expert Image Designer" that sort of thing. There were also a few duplicates (Hunter for example.) I doubt we'd see Choreographer go without a very large population of people unhappy with it. And such a population just doesn't exist.

    Yep, I know. That's why RM didn't want to talk about it in his thread. It's been done now though and I think this is safe to talk about as a separate issue.

    Don't know, that's why I'm asking.


    I like it too... it's kind of my fav. The "Exotic Dancer" title just had a lot of interest in that old thread. I was curious to know how much those who liked it did.
