Great ideas. Personaly, though, I would absolutely love to have a two dances that complimented each other in such a way that you could have dance partners. You could do bandflos with the other person to sinc up the flourishes and stuff. That would be awesome.

We've been told that we are getting new dance/dances soon, but no hint as to what. I know I would like to see some higher skill "fast" dances. However, I have no trouble doing any of the existing dances.

Couples dances is something they want to do, but the game's technology isn't there yet. When you can take another player as a passenger in your speeder will be when you can do couples dances.

The idea of dances that compliment each other is an interesting one. It would be awhile before any suggestions would be seen in game though. To give you an idea, the dances we'll be getting came from a motion capture session last September.

I'm going to turn in a Male Dancer specific document just as soon as we get through all of these Combatish talks.

As much as we joke about Poplock in here, I know Break Dancing is pretty high on the want list for a lot of male players... and I did talk to Ood and Keldarin about this at FF. I also think we might be able to get "couple dances" through a Dance Floor type item thatwould havethe animations on the object... it should be do-able, but I have no idea when they'd have time for it.

Keep using the Male Issues thread and I'll make sure it all gets on the Request Proposal all official like.

I think couples dancing would be very cool.

I'd also like to see an expanded line of dances. Supposedly they will be adding some in the future, I hear.

A lot of men are not going to do most of the dances that are available, they do look kind of feminine.

I have nothing against male dancers who want to do those dances, but I don't want to do them, nor do I want to watch a male toon do them.

Also would be cool if the entertainer had more control over the dance, rather than a fixed (small) set of flourishes and emotes. Much like the musicians would benefit from the ability to record their own songs.

The dance moves would be harder because they rely on motion capture, but technology keeps advancing so who knows?

Hopefully the game will continue to add content as we head past the alleged Space Expansion and Combat Rebalance.

There IS a way not to fall.. (And no, I don't mean the weapon exploit.) You only ever fall on your top 2 or 3 dances. A master will never fall on poplock2 or anything lower. Since the dance doesn't matter for buffing and only matters some for healing, what dance you do is a choice you can make. If you always do exotic, then yes, you will fall a lot.

It's still more than it should be though. While non-masters I can see falling, but masters should fall rarely if ever.
