Here are the new calendar themes I'm working on:

Romance - Entries in this calendar should be centered around romance. This can mean shots of lovers, romantic scenery, moonlight, etc.

War - What I'm looking for here are action shots of the civil war. Not the horror of war, but the excitement of it.

Spectacular Vistas - Scenery shots of all kinds, highlighting the spectacular world we play in.

Exotic Creatures - Not gnorts. Exotic. In interesting settings and poses. Try not to get killed, but if you do, remember it's all for the sake of art.

I will make no guarantee on the order the calendars are produced in, nor which photos shall be included. There is no guarantee that any of the calendars will be produced at all, as this requires enough imagery of a particular quality to succeed.

Submit all photos via email to [email protected]. If you cannot send them through email, post them on a website and send me a link to it in email or on these forums. I will not be responding to the emails sent as there are usually too many, but if your email went though, trust me, I got it. Please don't respond to this thread with a photo or a link, as I may not be following all such threads and this would spoil the surprise. If you wish to receive a credit for your work, please include the character name and server to whom you would like to give the credit to. All photos should follow the following guidelines:

• Imagery must be shot without the UI (hit ctrl-chift-h to hide the HUD).
  
• Please take photos at as high a resolution as you can
  
• No text bubbles
  
• Shadows are a bonus as they add realism
  
• Do not edit the photos before sending them. Send the source right out of SWG
  
• No "naughty" photos. Imagery featuring nudity (via bug or otherwise) or compromising positions will be discarded
  
• Get permission! If there are people in your image, make sure each of them has consented to be in the calendar before sending the imagery to me
  

All imagery is subject to potential "re-touching". This means I may play with the image to bring out colors or elements, or even substitute elements. This is done to enhance the imagery for the calendar. To be absolutely clear, by sending me a photo, you are giving me permission to re-touch and alter it as I see fit for the purposes of the calendar.

You are free to redistribute this announcement as you see fit. I will only be posting it in a few places, so feel free to spread the word.

I'll have to see if I can find a group of imp and reb NPCs out in the wild in a firefight. Those are always spectacular.

No deadline yet, it's too early to tell what the response will be like.

I will not be using any photos placed on a public forum. I do not want to clutter up the forums with stuff that can easily be passed via PM or email, and it would spoil any surprise the calendar might bring if everyone could see the imagery ahead of time.

Finally, for the "spectacular vistas" calendar, I'm getting some pictures that have people in them. I don't want vacation photos (this is me on the beach...this is me in front of fabulous mountains). This isn't a calendar featuring people, this is a calendar featuring the landscapes. If you want your character to be in the calendar, then submit photos for the "romance" or "war" calendars.

Romance...anything that screams "romantic". Couples, sunsets, beaches, firelight, whatever is romantic to you. I'm not going to lay down specific rules like "I want couples shots with x, y and z in them", if that's what you're looking for.
