WTH, doctors get healing xp from buffing, just not from buffing themselves. Why wouldn't the same apply to entertainers?

Geez I could have made a better excuse then that.
Clickied for convenience. Scroll down to the musicians' answer. Keep in mind that we were already mad because TH told our correspondants to give him a question later in the week, so the entertainment professions' questions are ones TH pulled for himself from somewhere.... You'll notice he tells us that buff timers will not display in the customer's window. Sometimes I wonder if they ever unlock TH's closet so he can actually play the game.
Actually, docs don't get xp for buffing themselves, but I checked xp for buffing as a Master Musician. I was able to collect xp for 17 tics. In that 2 min 50 seconds I got 100 xp before it stopped. That means that if we were able to buff ourselves, we could make 100 healingxp about every 2 hours...that doesn't seem like much in the big scheme of things.

OMG I totally understand why dancers can't buff themselves, this would be away too powerful exp source IMO, really unbalancing compared to the horror a TKA or an Artisan have to do
How is that unbalancing....for a dancer or musician to self-buff? I realize my words will go unheeded on this board..as the Devs never visit here. Well other than the ACDC, just about every regular poster in here has said this at one time or another. I don't know why we can't get these things. I guess it's time for me to do another big poll to take back to the Devs.

Yeah, it seems our code isn't really anything a like.
Though, one solution seems to be to make self buffing tied to a Master Level command so the XP wouldn't be a factor. I'm not sure what would be wrong with that. Maybe I can get an answer at the Corr Summit.
