So, guys and gals. What are you going to do after you master?

I've noticed that as soon as people hit master, they leave the cantina for something else. That's nice and all. Taking a break from cantinas and such... But... Are they ever going to come back? Probably not.

Most of the Master Dancers on the Bloodfin server have gone on to do different things and never dance anymore. Makes me wonder, why master a profession if you aren't going to use it? I admit, I've been going hunting alot more lately, but I always go back to the cantina. I just mastered Entertainer as well and I have tons of fun playing Star Wars 1 with the newbies on my Mandoviol. Hehe, I mastered the professions so I could be better at them. Not so I could take the title and move on.

So, do you still dance?

And please... I'm not trying to start anything. I am just curious. Hehe. I just wish I had more Master Dancers to bandflourish Exotic 4 with.

Ajami,

I will continue to dance the cantina's around the galaxy i dont intend to ever give up my dance profession.

Sure i will have to leave from time to time to work on my TKA or Medic skills but i love the entertainer profession. I have been dancing the Coronet cantina for a long time i am sure you know that

I'm going to continue dancing. I love it. It's fun, I love watching my PC move. I love the interaction that can happen. I'm pondering trying to hit Master Tailor as well, but that's just a ponder. I'd love to hit CH or Hairstylist as well. Not to mention working on my combat skills...

So much to do, so little skillpoints... x_x; Heehee.

Myself and the group of master dancers I know on lowca tend to drift around a bit now. We don't have ONE cantina we dance in like when we were obsessed with skill gain. Now we just sort of go where the game takes us. Right now, thanks to our needing money, we can be found mostlyrunning around on Dathomir exploiting the easy 10k destroy missions. I see at least five master dancers everyday there.

It's too bad therearen't any similarincome sources through dancing *frowns*.

I think the previous post hit it on the head... once I master and can relax a bit from the xp gain I intend to take a tour of the cantinas throughout the galaxy. Many also set up more private clubs near PA halls and such and the successful ones certainly attract some of the more experienced players away from the public cantinas.

I'm not quite at master, I still need to get Mind Healing 3 & 4, but I'm already at the point of "now what?". I have to admit, my tolerance level for rude or inappropriate behaviour has greatly diminished, and I'm spending more time out of the cantinas than in them. I'm frustrated by the number of customers who come in with huge amounts of BF and don't even say thanks when they leave. I'm tired of feeling like I'm invisible even though I'm the only one in the cantina bothering toconverse withthe customers--and they completely ignore me and plop down in front of the half-naked Twi'lek who hasn't said meep in hours and praise and tip her, and she still doesn't say a word. Ahh.... but I digress... (Sorry, Ihad to get that out.)

I've started to move around a little, instead of just staying in one place, which has been a nice change of pace. My musician partner and I are planning cantina/city tours now, and it has rekindled the fun to have something new to look forward to. We get to meet new people, sightsee around a new place, and just get out a little. I'm also shifting more ofmy focus to my secondary profession and may finally declare a faction.

One day I'll finally get master, but for now I'm finished with the grind and just want to enjoy what the galaxy has to offer.

After reaching Master, I started only dancing when I chose to, and where I chose. If hunters come into town asking for an entertainer, I will usually offer to dance for them. If anyone needs dancers for parties or weddings, I'm more than happy to hire my skills out.

But I find that I don't frequent the big cantinas anymore. Theed never had any customers to speak of, but the big groups there were great for high XP. I don't need XP any more, so if I dance, I either go somewhere remote where I'm appreciated or dance with friends for fun.

I'm spending more of my time working on Teras Kasi of late. It's a hard road - much harder than Dancer was - but I'm having fun with it. My goal is to reach Master Dancer and Master TKA at some point. Which title will I be the proudest of? I want to say Master Dancer since I enjoy it the most, but I'm afraid reality pushes me the other way. I will be very proud of my Master TKA title and nobody can accuse me of macroing my way up the ladder. Thanks to the less-scrupulous of my dancing colleagues, I can't say the same for my Master Dancer title.

I don't think I'll ever stop dancing - I might do other things in addition to it, but I can't imagine myself just leaving the cantinas after I hit Master Dancer.

For example, I still think a dancer is a great cover for a smuggler or bounty hunter so I might try to take those up as a side-profession, but I'd still be dancing. And I'm currently working on tailoring, but I'm only tailoring so that I can make affordable costumes for dancers, and I do some of my tailoring right in the cantina while I'm taking breaks from dancing.

But leave the dancing profession to move onto something else after Mastering it? No way. Don't see it happening.

No they'll accuse you of exploiting factions, baz nitch missions, tuskens or jax missions... Even if it takes you a year to finish your skill training someone is gonna assume that you did something underhanded to get your title as long as you have more skill than them.

Personally I will always proudly display my dance title knowing that it represents weeks of sleepless nights and hours spent with all of the great new friends I made.

Well I'm out of Points to spend! 250 is not enough.

I wanted to be the first Master Dancer on Corbanits so I played 20 hours a day. NO Macros. OK 1 that was about 10 minutes for bathroom breaks and food. It took me 8 days from launch and after all that I wasn't the first on the server. Two others beat me by a day! So I had to rethink my short term goal.

Well because I played so long and hard on Tatooine I met a lot of people. It took no time for those that had a lot of BF to know who was actually at the keyboard and who was not. It was that interaction that helped me meet people for in the game. A good dancer will interact with those around him or her.

After I made Master I was a bit lost. Since I worked so hard to level I had no one to teach me skills. I had to buy them. Because of that I took up pistol skill and scout. Run mission to pay for next skill then get back to dancing. Before I knew it I had enough scouting skills that by the time I made master dancer I was half way to CH.

I made Creature Handler Master last week and refuse to give up Dance Master for more skill points.A danceris what I am!

I get a lot of flack from those that I haven't met before because some players are just jerks. They see Master Dancer title and think I can do nothing for myself. That or they call me a Macro Master. Truth is with 3 pets attacking I take down Grawls for fun. Dancers need to learn at least 1 type of fighting skill.

I will always be a Master Dancer and that is the title I wear proudly. If we are ever awarded more points in the future and I learn some other Mastery I will still be a Master Dancer. Because I chose that title from the start. I always try and take time out of whatever I am doing and dance.

DANCE! it is what weDO not what we HAVE to do. Go have fun, hunt and kill if you like. If you are a true dancer you will dance, Master or Novice. Dance at the star port waiting for a transport. Dance while waiting for a group to get ready to go on missions. Dancein someones house. Dance just for the sake of it. No one says you have todance in a cantina. I dance for ME, not to heal the wounded every minute of every day.

What will I do when I make Master Dancer? The real questions is what willYOU do when you have used every point the way you want to and still have the title of Master Dancer? For me its easy. I will dance for my Rancor!

Since I have reached master, I have been traveling to off beat cantinas and performing there. I am also learning to tailor. So, at the time being when these cantinas are slow, I will sit there and craft out some goods while I wait for people who need healing and entertaining.

But I always return to my home cantina at least once a day. I miss all the people who would come in. And I actually enjoy watching the bar room brawls that happen.

I'm going to have to agree - Once I hit Master, I'll likely dance when I want to.

Of course - Once I Master Dance, I have to finish Entertainer (Just Music to go!) and then master both Image Design and Music. I plan on being a *TRUE* Master Entertainer.

My tolerance for obnoxious people and cheap buggers is seriously dipping.

I was busily doing something else the other day, my PC just sitting - Eveyone else disspaeared while I was not there, and I returned to my SWG window at the ping of repeated tell messages. Guy asking me to dance. So I shrugged, and started. He takes off after healing about 500 mind wound points, with a 100 credit tip.

Never done it before, but that one I told off. And I'll never dance for HIM again, thats for certain.

It'd be nice if there was a meter that appeared for Battle Fatigue in the cantina, so we can tell how much someone is leeching healing. Mind Wounds is easy to tell.

Unfortunatly you won't have enough skill points to master dance, image design and music you can master 2 of them and have 47 skill points left to get some of the third. You could master dance image design and fill the knowledge and tech trees of musician which would allow you the widest range of skills.

For myself I'm woriking on the smuggler tree which will allow me some fighting skills and some shady RP abilities. Dancing in a dark shady cantina pushing a little spice on the side to the regulars.
