Thread: Dancer vs Other professions
Pilot was a seperate list. I didn't include it, but here it is:
3. Imperial
2. Rebel
1. Neutral
That just seems weird to me, but its their stats not mine.
Oh, and they did add that all the pilots were very close to each other in numbers.
Politician started out as a regular profession and is a "ground" profession still, so maybe that's why its there? It doesn't cost any points to be one so perhaps its not surprising that its listed so high?

LOL...
Boy looking at that list, it is quite easy to see SOE has problems with this game.

Wow, Dancer was a lot higher than I suspected! Maybe we have enough players to actually get some changes given to our profession??
P.S. Even more news this is from Garva at Community Relations:

Ok the top list is professions played regardless of level and the bottom list is of how many peopleare masters of a profession. With the most people as master Bounty Hunter.

Because it is always a good thing referring to the original.
Firday Feature - Profession Popularity
I'd love to see the actual profession-frequency distribution (I know they won't give us total numbers because they hide how many players there are in the game, and have been ever since the population flattened off way below the half million they originally predicted).
My guess is, the bottom 10-15 professions make up about 10% of the total playerbase, and so whether you're 21 or 31 probably is a difference of a few hundred toons total.

And yes, it is deeply sad that there are more full template Masteries in Jedi (Light Saber plus Defender) than in Entertainer (Dancer and Musician). Not surprising, just very sad.

Maybe I am missing it... but there are no master entertainers?![]()
It looks like they just left out the Novice profs and just pulled Elites. Which is a shame, because I thinkMaster Ent actually would give a good indication ofreal Entertainers. Not that we all always have Master Ent, I know I don't on all my chars, but I get it as often as I can fit it in and I knowit's a purely Social thing.
I also think the non-Master stats for Dancer are probably a better indication of players using it for pure Social purposes. Maybe not though, it's so hard to tell with all of the Master FS Grinder Dancers.
I say we let go of the FS turn in and run the numbers for Ents again.
Also, it would be cool to know how many people have the Theater quest song and dance.
