Hello Dancers,

I came up with an idea for a "bit", just something to add a little variety to the game, and I was hoping to solicit opinions from the entertainer community.

I wanted to hire some "minstrels" to follow my character around dancing and singing ridiculous, exxagerated songs about him. Not serious songs, more parodies like "Sir Robin" in Monty Python.

This would be a one-day event, for an hour or two. I would imagine it would get old after that, but I'd like to see how many people we could amuse, disgust, shock, and/or suprise in that time.

I would provide transportation for the group, obviously, travel expenses to and from, and maybe 250k each for the hour or so it would take.

Creativity and the ability to be spontaneous would be key here. There would needto be some coordination in group chat to keep from stepping all over each other, but the "product" would need to getout there fast after something happened.

This is not an ad, becasue I'm not hiring yet, just a thought to try and do something different.

A return engagement could also be in the works to do some "Tom Green" style observational comedy, following around unwitting players and making up songs about/imitating them. If we did that one, I'd still pay but I'm working too.

I'm on Corbantis, so if this happens it would have to be with entertainers there, but I'd like feedback from the community at large.

Ha! That would crack me up!

My only real thought is, you need to plan to stop as you travel for the "minstrels" to play... while the band is moving, they'll only be able to sing... but having a group of crazies break into song and dance every time you stop kinda cracks me up even more than it being an ongoing thing anyway, lol.

Ok, I'm doing it. Thanks for the feedback.

I'll mull over the details for a couple of days then post the particulars.

I don't require any particular music or dance skill, just a decent wit (or the willingness to lay an egg trying) and novice ent will do, although people of all skills are welcome.

So, if anyone wants to roll a character and hop in that's fine, you'll get paid too as long as you put your two cents in.

Feel free to kick around ideas while I firm up the plan.

Don't count yourself out. That might be funny too, like that guy who always stands up too late for "the wave", or the kid who can't keep up with "row, row, row your boat"
