Oh, wow got to use death in the title of a post.

Say, according to the expansion website, the new expansion allows you to get a very kewl and wonderful house! However, its a big house at 5 lots.

That means players that have mastered dancer and have their own cantina can't place their new house unless they tear down their cantina! This means a lot of cantinas maybe torn down when the expansion comes out.

Ouch, and geeze!!!!!

(Oh, if somebody knows this to be wrong please correct me)

OK, I HAVE NEEN CORRECTED!

So, all I can say is "nevermind".

Actually, thank you for correcting me!!!

(This posting never occured, this is not the post you are looking for, move along.)

Cantinas take 5 lots. PA halls, large houses and the new bunker each take 5 lots. Players have 10 lots for structures. 5+5=10 Players can place a cantina and any other 5 lot structure.

A cantina takes 5 lots as well. You can also declare residence in either structure so theres really no reason to close the cantina.

But the new house might make an even more interesting cantina... (for those people who already have all 10 lots in use and who want the new bunker house) Plus it's a house so you can use the pack up feature.

they still have not given a definate on this, I think because it is actually a guild hall by all rights it may not have the feature.

I'm too lazy at the moment to look for the post, but Thunderheart said he believed it was intended to pack up. When everyone in the game has one, it would be a foolish move on their part to say "sorry, but you can't pack this up because 1% of the players might use it as a guild hall..." I know I wouldn't bother ever planting it if I couldn't pack it up.

"a brand new style of player house that can also be used as a Guild Hall "

and thats from their own words, therefore going by the fact that houses can be packed up, I would figure that this one can also, because they call it a house that can be used as a guild hall, not a guild hall that can be used as a house.

TH is very frequently wrong even when he is certain about whatever's he is talking of (which for the most part isn't his fault but simply incorrect information given to him by the Developers), so I wouldn't put too much faith in these words. We still don't know for sure, and we might not know until the expansion is out.

True... and? What's your point? Keep in mind this is SOE we're talking about here

You know, it would be nice if being a Master Dancer you could declare any structure as a cantina and have it appear on the game map vs. being limited to a specific style structure in a player city.

actually....

I would love that as a 'Grand Master Perk'

Since there is no real reward for mastering Entertainer, Musician, Dancer, Image Design {the little gold advanced entertainer does not show for much}..

THAT would be perfect!
