Thread: I Feel Sad...
I wish I could still find my "happy thoughts" threads. It's buried somewhere in the depths of here. Even on the Titanic, the band played loud and bright. Maybe the devs have forgetten about us or just given up on trying to understand us but for now *we* understand us and though you may be disappointed and sad, we should not give up on one another.
I don't know when I will be hanging up my dancing shoes, I know it's not time to yet. For those that are, I will miss you but I understand where you are coming from. Maybe some day, in a game similar to this, in a galaxy far far away we'll all meet up again and dance together.
(sorry for the very jumbled thoughts, it was an emotion driven post and I can't think of how to put it together better)
Good morning. In less than an hour, entertainers fromour galaxywill join others from aroundSWG Universe. Andwe will be launching the largestdance partyin the history of Entertaining. "Entertaining." That word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it's fate that today is theEntertainer's Rebellion Day, and you will once again bedancing, playing, and face paintingfor our freedom... Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution... but from AFK lead annihilation. We are fighting for our right to party. To exist. And should we win the day, Entertainer's Rebellion Daywill no longer be known as a hoax, but as the day the world declared in one voice: "We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight!" We're going to live on! We're going to survive! Today we celebrate ourright to party!
My appologies to the folks that wrote the script for ID4.
Oh sign.me.up!It's been such a downer lately to see so many sad entertainers...I mean muses...especially when I love the game and don't feel nearly as dejected by recents events. I'll do anything I can to help breathe some life back into the game for entertainers becaue it was the entertainers that helped breathe life back into the game for me! I've got established toons on both Valcyn and Naritus, and I can make a toon on any other server to participate.
I have faith that there are combat types that will - and do - care about their entertainer counterparts. I've yet to meet one on either server that wasn't totally supportive of anything I wanted to do or felt was lacking in the game, and I don't know anyone (literally) that supports AFK-bots. I think they'll listen and help as long as we stay positive and fun and and show them how much they need us, not just for buffs but for entertainment and socialization. Not everyone will be supportive, but I think enough of them are out there who will be that it will make a difference.
So here's one soldier of spunk (heh) reporting for duty! /salute

I look at the posts here, and where there were once hearty, vibrant spirits, there are now souls that have just given up. Not that I can blame anyone, I'm in the same boat. But look at all we've stood through, hologrinding and bots and the CU. We are more than just entertainers, we all like soldiers of spunk. I had always wondered what it would take to finally get most of us to just give up, but as much as I wondered, I never wanted to see it happen. Now I have. You can only ingore the middle child in a family so long before she packs her bags and runs away to join the circus.

I say if we're going to do it all on 1 server. Let's do it on Kauri. Kauri is pretty stinkin entertainer friendly and always love a good show. I'm a Kauri native and happy to organize and help this gathering. I'll help Esh get everyone clothed and whatever they need. I also have fraps to capture the moment.
I agree. Not a crawl but a big joyous party. Theed Starport? Get the biggest attention. We could dance around the fountains.
Ok..a Gathering of the Muses at Theed Starport on Kauri. Let's pick a date & time..maybe afternoonish US time on a Saturday or Sunday soit's allgood for Eurofolk as well? Two weeks (min)is a good timeframe as far as planning this sort of thing goes..gives plenty of time for promo and informationals. Colors anyone? I'm leaning toward something spiffy bright.
And yeah..I'm thinking of taking the show on the road. Doesn't get us too far if we only do this on one server. I say we make them all love us!
(I'm doing a cross-state,multi-trip move of myself and the pets between now and the 28th..but DSL is set up at both residencies so even if we do it really soon, I'm cool)
