I do not recall giving permission to steal my calendar design and idea. I certainly would not have done so without asking for credit for the work I put into designing an online calendar. You may have changed the imagery, but the design of the pages is obviously a direct ripoff.
The worst part is I would have given permission to use the design if only you'd asked and said that credit would be given where due. Instead, you chose to rip it off and claim the concept and design as your own.
You folks should be deeply ashamed. I'm extremely disappointed that after all my hard work on these calendars, this is how I'm repaid.
EDIT: This matter has since been settled. The guild in question never intended for the calendar to go public, and I overreacted. Apologies have been offered on both sides and the offending calendar has been altered.

It is said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. However I'm guessing
that Luna never heard of copywrite laws. (I won't go into personal descriptions)
Javy, for what its worth, yours is much better. And all of us here know it and
support you.
/hugs hon

lol, thats pretty lame, and yeah.. several of those are some pretty lame pictures. I guess if they aren't talented or original enough to come up with thier own design how much can you expect when it comes to quality of pictures? ehehe

Thanks for the words of support, it appears this little drama is over since they went and altered their design to remove my custom graphics and make it look different. I'm satisfied and my thanks go to the Wild Sands guild for doing the right thing.
Though all they really needed to do was apologize and actually ask permission and they wouldn't have had to change a thing.
Cielago: I wanted to post a message on their forum, but like the idiot I am, I couldn't figure out how to sign up on their forums until today, after they'd changed things.
And hey, since when can we edit messages?

Just to put closure on this...
After communicating (finally) directly with the guild, they never intended for their calendar to go public in any way. It's similar to someone downloading a photo of Mickey Mouse to print out and enjoy privately. Selling T-shirts with Mickey on it is a problem though, and the problem here occured when the calendar got cross-posted to at least one public forum and the rest is history.
I'm happy to say the the guild in question has been one heck of a class act about the whole thing, explaining to me that is was only meant for their internal guild and the intent was never to claim credit for another person's work. As far as I'm concerned, the matter is closed and, if anything, I may have met some really nice people from Starsider.
I love it when a potential negative has the opportunity to turn out positively.

Thats my honest views on it, not even half as good as your one, yours all jump out of the page, and they have very good lighting too... Hardly any of these have lighting correctly.
