Just an FYI for those who care. I'm rescinding my decision to leave the game.

Part of this change of heart is due to the dev team. Yes, I'm gratified that they're removing holocrons and that they're finally opening communications with us. It makes staying possible for me.

However, the true reason I'm staying is because of people like A'Ri, Doasa, Kirah, Roho, Laybaby, Dwi', Dreki, Sart, Iobea, Shianse, and a whole lot of other people (you know who you are).

A few weeks back, Doasa had the bright idea to create a chat channel where the true entertainers could talk. This led to us getting together, both in planned and unplanned events, that have made me feel like an entertainer again. We've been visiting new cantinas and going different places and getting together to enjoy the company and entertain. We may not have a huge audience, but for those who do witness us, the appreciation is there.

I've rediscovered what I'd long forgotten...that entertaining can be fun.

I also learned several other things. I had been trying to co-own a cantina, but realized that traveling to new cantinas all the time was one heck of a lot of fun. You see new people, new places and new experiences. Things are less likely to grow stale when you're moving around. It also makes more sense for the bunch of us to collect in one place than for everyone to play alone in their cantinas. From there, it was a natural evolution to come up with the idea of the gypsies, and I'm truly excited about what's in front of me for the first time in a long time. People may say I am the first Gypsy walking the galaxy, but those folks up there showed me the way. They were the first gypsies, they just never realized it.

So I wish to say thank you to every one of those folks up there, as well as those who, over the past few weeks, helped me discover that even in this day and age when the AFKer seems to have a grip on our world, even though the true entertainers may be few in number and scattered...true entertainment still exists as long as we make it exist.

I want to invite all of Bria's true entertainers to join us on the 'ent' channel. Create it if it's not there. Communicate with us. We don't need the Coronet or Theed cantina. We just need good drink, good times, and each other's company.

While I don't know how long I'll play the game, what I do now know is that my fellow entertainers are the foundation upon which my enjoyment will soar or crumble. As long as there's a party to attend, I'll be there.

Okay. Ahazi needs this kick in the pants. But I'm not chat channel creating savvy. ::snickers.:: If Ahazi has one I don't know about give ME the kick in the pants and tell me how to get to it.

Glad you decided to stay hon. Who else would come up with calendars (*twiddles her thumbs impatiently* ), server wide dance parties, and even intergalactic gypsies You would have been greatly missed if you had left. Now do as Pappi says and come visit TC more
