I've been traveling to a few different servers lately but most of my dancing has been on Tempest. I've been making about 60k a night since the CU went live and I'm not very high level there (andonly a few friends knowme). People seem thrilled to death to have someone acknowledge them when they come in. I'm still healing BF pretty slowly(I shouldbe able to train

I was just marvelling last night - I stopped to dance for a couple of minutes at the mining outpost on Kettemoor to inspire a friend and myself. I made 25K in tips in 5 mins.
The trick as said above really seems to be politelyacknowledging people when they come in.
I think the CU has really made the game more social and requiring more character to character interaction.
Let me just reiterate since this has come up numerous times before. Both Deli'ah and I (and other live ents on Shadowfire) are very personable and greet each and every person that enters the cantina. Depending upon their response and their character style I'll engage in more conversation as well.Getting tips really is very much server dependent. I've noticed this every time I have played an entertainer on another server.

That's very true. I was fortunate in that Kettemoor was one of the last servers to succumb to buffbots, and it seems to be one of the first servers to clear them out.
Shadowfire may just be slower than others, but I think the trend will eventually happen as people realized the uselessness of spending $15 a month on a bot that is no longer needed.
It's sort of like, at the height of the buffbots, it used to rile me up when people would say that I needed to interact more...basically, telling me that I wasn't good at what I was doing. I mean, really, it pissed me off big time. So, I believe you, and I would never assume that you aren't doing what you are supposed to do. The fact is, your server, right now, hasn't yet "caught up." But, I really do think that it eventually will.
