What yeilds more dev exp, creating a bug or squashing a bug?

Both, that's why each of their 'fixes' creates two more bugs.

Well as I've tried the class before...

They are probably macroing it. See, the whole system rewards the macroers. If you can complete a task automatically, you get more xp for it, so you can advance quicker. Most people who play as developers will not use this speed to advance up the skill tree faster. Instead, they will wait on training the next skill box, and instead work on other skills, such as Unreal Tournament or reading message boards. Then about the time they would have finished without macroing, they need to go on a quest, and at the end of the quest they meet the boss, and they get the next skill box trained from him.By waiting, those who don't macro don't get jealous of them.

So like an 8 ball that only has "outlook unclear" style answers?

I still want to find a pesimisticmagic 8-ball. I'm sure someone has made one somewhere. All negative answers, varying from vaguely negative to really in-your-face-insultingly-negative.

Well I think we should take them at their word that they will answer our ten questions. After that, however, its time to make soup stock.

The problem is,

if they stop macroing their Dev skill and take a look at the dancer board, they will loose all experience points and have to start again to grind the dev tree.

An evil bug. But I am sure they work on it
