Thread: No dance zone?..

I don't know if this is an issue only on Eclipse, but kind of would like to know. In the cantina's on other servers, are there entertainers dancing right in the enterence of the cantinas? If so..would like to maybe suggest a "no dance/music zone" so they don't crowd the entryway to the cantinas. Like..not being able to perform on the platform above the steps in the cantinas. This way people that refuse to dance in the entryway, will actually see the patrons come in an interact with us.

People would probably get angry about it. But, yeah, I kind of wish the entry way acted like outdoors where you couldn't heal or buff. Force people to go back into the actual Cantinas for that sort of thing. They can hang out there if they want, but if they want to heal or buff they need to come inside.

They were doing that on the Tarquinas server....still do to some extent.
I just don't dance there....especially since it seems to be primarily bots that clutter up the doorway.
When I was grinding dancer and musician again, I just joined the group...and went to the main cantina area to dance/play. Was fun having the whole place to myself for a bit. When the rest of the group started seeing me there dancing alone, they moved down and joined me. Occasionally I would /sing or /shout something out to let the patrons know that there were live entertainers on the main floor, hungry for experience!
I think most entertainers conform to the normal cantina "etiquette" and don't clutter up the doorways...again, the only people I have seen doing that regularly are bots (unfortunately can't move them though and most think you are trying to grief them if you suggest they move to not lag out the entrance).

can't say for the whole server but Theed on Kauri is just horrible about this. HORRIBLE. I'm talking 15 entertainers in that doorway. I dance in the back always but the main reason is I'm slightly claustrophobic being in the small hallways like that. I like the freedom of whipping my camera in all angles and seeing things 
Usually after I start dancing in the back, new people will start to trickle and dance around me. Mostly because they came to get training or something

I just got this image of javier standing in the entrance to the cantina.With those glow batons that people at the airport directing planes use, directing dancers to the back enforcing the no dance zone.
Oh and wearing the collector goggles and or a swoop helm maybe.

Hmm, well....
Im gonna just go with theobvious and say hawtpants, i wouldn't want javier getting any ideas.
And in retrospect it would all go out the window anyway and you'd have javier in the front room spanking girls with the glowsticks.

I start calling people out as fire hazards when they do this .
I try to keep the conversation light so as to not come across as just a mean jerk, and I've had probably slightly more success than not with this method.

Ok ok i wasn't talking about THAT glowstick. All i can say is it's a good thingtheres the default undies or we'd all be in trouble.
