Seriously though, I just thought maybe we should start a new thread about any responses to Tiggs' "Getting to know you" thread. I didn't feel right posting there because I thought it should mostly be about responses to her original question, and not about commenting on others' or even her comments.

It means a lot to me and I'm sure others to hear you say this. Also this counts as getting some direct dev feedback about our issues in OUR forum so special /hugs for you.
Now the flip-side to this is that we are very much hoping to see some progress on this in the not too distant future. I don't know what kind of timescale this fix may be on, but if it's not on an immediate one, perhaps some periodic updates by yourself or even via our correspondents letting us know how it's progressing would be greatly appreciated and might go a long way toward reducing the pessimism that many of us feel since this is such an important issue to many of us. The shame of it all is that we really are a fun-loving bunch of people here, but this one problem in particular and others in general are getting a lot of us down. We do hope you'll stick around here long enough to see our happier side because it can still be found, and we'd like to think that you might enjoy coming by here once in a while to just to have a little fun. Tell ya what, stop by and see me anytime on Flurry, and I'll make you a complementary pair of HAWTPANTS!

The exact same cut/paste got put into the Core System forum.... BUT she did reply to the thread and that wasn't a cut/paste. So in the 15 months we have had 2 dev posts here. Rock on... \m/

A DEV responds to one of my posts and smacks the wrong person. I feel totally unloved.
If I sound cynical it's because I've been playing this game long enough not to trust anything coming from the SOE side of things.
