Thread: Need help with buff macro

I am a jedi knight on intrepid and I recently bought a new toon....master doc/master dancer
I currently am only buffing for 1 hour or so with my macro. Can anyone please tell me a way to get the 2 hour buffs that the afker's are selling in coronet? I will not be doing any of that stuff, I just want to be able to get the full use out of my dancer toon to help my jedi. Thanks

Oh and I did do a search before I posted this, but the only buff macros I saw were the old style ones. Yahoo. com failed me too

Wish I could help you, but it's been so long since someone actually asked me to buff them, I simply forget!
You might try asking those buffbots in Coronet how they do it. I'm sure they'll be happy to help ya.

Not to flame, but do you expect me to have ANY respect for someone who buys a master character? This makes me ill. I imagine you bought your jedi as well.

What the heck are you talking about? I bought a new account and made it a master doc/master dancer and I have my 2 toons that I created on my jedi account. Sounds like you should look before you leap before making bs accusations. All I asked for was help with a macro for my second account, not your flaming about how you think my account was Ebay bought. After all you did have to 'buy' a copy of swg to have an account, right? And the last time I checked, 'bought' was past tense of 'buy'. I could be wrong though.

It sounded like you were saying you got a finished toon off of Ebay or somewhere else, I read it that way too. Just clarify and move along, no reason to get mad at people. Please look in the FAQs for help with macroing and buffing.

ahh, ok...the reply wasnt meant in a nasty way, I just have never heard of a master doc/master dancer account being sold on auctions before, its very weak. Took me 5 days total to grind this toon out.
I did look in the FAQ's and didnt see a 2 hour macro, I'll look again though.

Hun, not to get into this with you, but it was your original phrasing that makes it seem as if you bought a character pre-made. You said you bought a new toon... a Master Doctor/Master Dancer. The implied meaning makes it seem like you bought someone else's character that they worked up.
I think the other person should have had a bit more tact in their post. The comments were uncalled for, but I do understand where the other poster got the wrong impression.
Oh, and I quit the buffing business a long time ago, so I wouldn't know of a good macro. Just remember that it's all about the /flourish.

Now I am really confused. So it took you only 5 days to grind out a master doc / master dancer?? This time, I will wait before making other accusations...

If you are a master dancer than you already know how the buffing process works.

It is very easily possible to be an ATK Master and not know how to buff. I've run into this quite a bit honestly with having to teach Masters how to buff that I know leveled ATK but never got asked for buffs before they hit Master.
That being said what it sounds like is you started a new account and leveled it AFK to get to Master to buff your Jedi.
With a second account it is possible to Master Doc in a day or so if your other account can tumble and you have the resources for the crafter grinding. There are also other ways to level a Doc very quickly with a second account without tumbling.
With the damage Pilots are now getting I could see it as possible if you hit large groups and leveled AFK to do Dancer in 5 days.
She has a Jedi so she knows how to grind.
That all being said I'll just give you a basic outline though it is on the boards but if you've honestly looked and can't find it then I won't be a PITA about it.
Start a dance (highest one is usually chosen) and make sure your Jedi is watching you. At that point on your dancer direct your performance towards your Jedi (/setperf). Then perform flourishes. If you perform 5 flourishes every 10 seconds you can get a 2 hr buff in roughly 4 minutes. Then have your Jedi /stopwatch.
Those are the basics and I'm sure with the grinding you've done you can come up with the macro/s on your own.

No.
But, I will tell you how to get a 2 hour buff that the atk'ers are selling. 
I'm sure you know how to make a macro, so I won't go into macro making. However, basically make sure that your macro has 120 flourishes. You can do this by looping your macro (right now) if you want to. But, basically, if you know that you've done the 120 flourishes, your buff will be for 2 hours.
