Thread: Varactyl Egg Waypoint?

I swore I would not read spoilers for the RotW quests, and I wont ask for any, but will someone please throw me a freakin bone here? Ive spent the last two hours searching for the NPC that starts the Varactyl Egg quest. Ive hunted throughout the city, and as far along SE as the Rodian Hunters camp. Can anyone just give me the exact waypoint to start the quest?

He is at the Rodian hunter camp, on the edge of it. You should see a non-targetable Varactyl there, and next to it will be the guy who gives you the info. Good luck on finding the stupid thing your supposed to kill though, I've been waiting at the nest for 4 hours waiting for the momma to spawn so I can get the egg. Eggs are there, but quest journal says I need to kill the big-un before I can get them.
Frickin' static spawns.

Thanks electro, I just finished the quest, got my shiny varactyl egg 
It's odd you've been waiting so long, it took about 50 minutes to respawn for me(I arrived just as another group was leaving).

she is lvl 55, likes her state hits too hehe, i used a lvl 68 gurrcat and a good pike to take her down solo and now i have a cute lil baby varactyl /cheesygrin

ya i hope to get one sometime soon. i got my vet reward on the wrong char i dont know what i was thinking

I've just started CH and the first thing I did was train and name my veractyl. He has proved very useful in battle.
So far, I'm really enjoying CH am almost xxx4 and going for 4xxx next.
I shall leave the quest for the egg until I'ma little more proficient.

First attack I was cap. needed a next attack to get the egg the Flang was still not recoverd from my first attack, nice CH award the level 65 pet.

No need to fear, they are tradeable. I have 4 accounts and I traded the other 3's to my ch for training.

so i got my quest today and found the nest...is she a triggered spawn or is she on a timer and if shes on a timer does anyone know how long it is?

Incapped me once, so I camped out until regen of energy and went back for more, I now have my Egg :-) I am sooooooooo happy.

Hey guys... i am having some trouble getting this quest going... i talked to the guy named Pirus which i was told is the one who gave the quest. BUT when i talk to him he doesnt give me any quest he just talks about the weather and says good day to me. anyone know if i have to do something first before he will give me the quest?
