Ok, I've moaned my share about how my favorite pets were ruined in conversion. So, here's a slightly better result.

Today I broke down and converted my BE dog, Biggus, a CL 66 Kusak skin who used to have armor ... here's what he turned into:

Biggus

I had a similar result with a bearded jax, cept it was only level 51 to begin with. The resistances didn't seem to help it much.

Isnt that great, hes about equal to an average level 66 pet, 6k health and about 300-400 max damage. MY level 35 rancor had the cloned stats of a level 50 rancor so it had light armor and all the protections a wild rancor had, except my rancor was BE level 35 with strong poison, Blinding strike, and ranged attack. He also had 10k health. the only downside was he only did about 320 damage.

When I converted Chump he stayed level 35 but his health dropped to 4k, his damage is 302 and since he has no armor or protections, and cant use his awsome specials, PLUS he has no one to team up with since all thier levels sky rocketed, I dont use him now.... poor chump.

So does the ToHit 0.0 mean he is un hitable or that they can't miss?

I have about 10 BE pets made myself. They all had light armor but where turned into this strange stats pets just like yours. When I used up my spare samples most of the pets turned into 200+ pets. It was a good moment for me to run from the BE profession and take on my old profession MCH. But the pets are useless. I complained about it. I hope SOE is going to fix it. It took me a awful lot of time to get those samples.

It looks like he might have CU armor. I noticed those numbers next to his resists. That should be that same as armor for players. If that is the case, then it looks like he might have around 29% restistance to most attacks.

I think that's to do with the new system: hit/miss is no longer calculated based on accuracy vs defense, it's a random event, they just forgot to remove that part of the interface probably.

any pet with light armour will go over level 200. dont level convert them whatever.

pets without light armour will go up a few levels and keep their specials and resist percentages so maybe this is ok. 17/18 of my BE pets converted under level 70

anyone know if the resists scores from level converted pets are percentages (so 60% pre-CU = 6000/10000 or like 60/10000 ?!?!)

good luck everyone and cheers if anyone can tell me about the resists...

The four-digit number on your armor is technically the independent variable in a quadratic equation for percentile resists mapping the domain [0, 10000] onto the image [0, 60]. In layman's terms, that means that the armor rating signifies a percentile resist (as in the old system) ranging from 0 to 60%. Because the equation is concave quadratic, you get diminishing returns for higher resists.

The actual function is: 60 * (AR/10000) + { [ (10000 - AR) / 10000 ] * (AR/200) }

Which reduces to: 0.011 * AR - 5E-7 * AR * AR

Some hard numbers:

1000 = 10.5%
2000 = 20.0%
3000 = 28.5%
4000 = 36.0%
5000 = 42.5%
6000 = 48.0%
7000 = 52.5%
8000 = 56.0%
9000 = 58.5%
10000 = 60%

So, those BE pets that have those numbers in resists, again, should be better than natural ones, as I do not remember seeing resists on natural ones.

k thanks lets hope so and not that the 60 refers to the same scale as armour getting 6000 in which case these pets are useless now for resistsLOL
