Thread: Revenge of Jagged Fang ... veers a bit OT

I end up err dead. And clone. And clone inside an npc in the tree and cant move at all. So I use unstick and end up outside that little wooden fence up the hill on the ground and still paralysed. Then I sit and wait for two hours for a ***** CS person to unstick me to no avail, a reply at least might be nice lol.All I wanted was my nice little egg I dont know why Jagged Fang got quite so miffed with me. Sighs tragically. If anyone sees my pets wandering around give them a bit of pet food and tell them Mommy will be home eventually.Hoping to be free soon..Helene
Use the /eject command, that might work.
EDIT: Or it might be /escape, not sure.

That an /eject command or /escape command is needed at all is a sad thing. I was looking to find a new planet and all we got was this themepark.
Word of advice on getting the egg. I too went to chat with the nice lizard and found myself staring at treetops from a most undignified position. Me at lvl 55 and apet at lvl 70 barely dented her. I even tried distracting her with a pet while I snuck up on the eggs. No dice. I have to kill her to be alowed to search the nest. So when you get home try to form a small group 1-2 lvl80s with you should do it. The conn disk says 55. It lies.

Yuck, I happened to get mine when a few people were already camping for her. When she showed up we tore her up quick. Are you a lv 80 yet? I remember you were using a rifle when I gave you that Screecher a while back. If so you should have taken her down quick. And that eject command does work wonders. I walked off a building once and got trapped behind a mission terminal once. Popped me free after a min. or two.

Very easy to kill at level 80 with or without a pet.. but if you're much lower than that she's real mean (mainly due to all the states she applies)
I disagree.
I'm a master smuggler, level 80, and used a GSH to assist. I wasn't doing enough damage to put a dent in her. She SHOULD have been a relative piece of cake, but the damage she was dealing was not appropriate for her level if the multiplier system is working properly. The other veracyls on the way were all pretty easy to take down (and are yielding exceptional avian meat on Ahazi right now).
If you're a "nuke" profession in addition to MCH, you probably have a shot. A rifleman, heavy swordsman, or commando can probably do this alone. But I was laying states on her left and right and it wasn't doing any good, and I was spending too much time trying to get her states off me.
I'll go back with some guildies later to get the egg, but unless you've got significant damage dealing capabilities, it's a no go solo.

I killed her easily solo as a carbineer. I didnt even "snare and run" I just outright tanked her. I have also helped others kill her and had her below 50% before they got into range. I guess some professions have a harder time than others. She is definitely what we call "under con" but not all that hard for a level 80..
I also soloed Fang with my level 54 Merek pet. I found it easy to mask scent and just stay up on the southern hillside to avoid aggro from the other varactyls in Fang's valley. If I had to do it over again I would know to pull out the 2 Varactyls that guard the nest first before I made my attack on Fang. As it was I had Fang and her 2 bodyguard varactyls on me at the same time. I was able to quickly dispatch the 2 lesser guards but Fang herself is another matter. Battle at close range for a rifleman is not the best but I continued to use stimpacks and bacta toss to keep me up as long as I could. She finally incapped me when I had beat her down to about 30% health. As my incapp timer wore off she wandered back to her nest and fortunately she does not have an extremely fast regen. By the time I was back on my feet I stimpacked my self back to full heath, pulled out my Level 55 rancor and finished Fang off in quick fashion. It is definitely soloable with a little advance planning and some healing capability at level 80.

I beat the hell out of fang.. maybe its because I am a very powerful swordsman I also used my GPS and my level 1 blurrg but i tanked as well she barley scratched me along with all the other veractyls lol yup I killed em all...
The reason I complain about pets in the combat upgrade soo much is because well I dont need my pets to fight.... I used them more as a deversion a help to tank or an edge in battle like specials and ranged.. but now They are VERY useless to me and arnt even worth using with all the bugs..
I am level 60 (master CH and a few boxes in BH). I went in with my uber Gurreck andmyhalf grown FrenziedGraul as back up and Fang droppedthem and then came after me and dropped me quickly (she was down to like 25%). I got back up after incap, stored my Gurreck and Graul, pulled outmy now level 70 Sheer Mite, saw she had regen'd to about 40%,and went in and finished her.Was still close though, she finished off mypet and was coming after me luckily she was only at about 5% and I was able to kill her before she killed me (I was at about 15% whew). It was hard sure, but it was fun also

Your right about the Energy. I used that the first time and she dropped me quickly and I hardly touched her damage wise. Went back and used a trusty Kinetic pistol.
