im takeing BH right now only to get me to lvl 80 and to support master pistoleer. im currently only a novice in it but if what your asking , is hunting jedi any good with pets, i would have to say no on that one. for the sole reason that they can make the pets attack you instead *cough* gay *cough*

Lmao, yep that does sound hom. As i said been away a while and seen a load of people creaming over BH so was just a thought.

I was MTK/MCH before hand, but got bored with TK, I grinded to commando a while ago, unable to reach master due to not enough SP back then, i guess i may try that.

MBH CH is an ok combo if you have some pistoleer / carbineer ranged skills to support it

MCH may limit your skill points...

I am MBH CH 0414 so level 38 pets which are still 9k ham 6k resists hitting for 500dam so not too shabby

in PvP they hit for like 80-150 on a jedi so not that great but when specials work again and pets can tank they will be cool i'm sure

(yes i refuse to give up my 18 pets lol)

Bh is good because of its knock down. I just kd people and let my pets set upon there prone body as I torso shot them. I use a gps and a errr low level pet (1) so I do have an advantage most ch dont.

In PvE, it's still a decent combination, even if the devs (again?!) peed in our punchbowl. For the BH grind, it's unstoppable against a single NPC mission target. I'm still working my way up to where my CH skills are the equivalent of my Master BH skills, so right now I constantly outdamage my pets and have to work hard not to pull my opponents' aggro onto me. I'm hoping the problem improves as I obtain the ability to use higher-level pets, like the boar wolf and male brackaset (CL-65) and graul mauler (CL-51) and delirious merek avenger (CL-58?) currently pining away in my datapad.

For PvP, I'm thinking it will still be a tough ride. Pets maxx out at CL-70, while players maxx out at CL-80. That's a built-in advantage to the traditional dual-weapon-mastery templates. Also, with no weapons modifiers, we only have the BH mods, so another advantage goes to the dual-weapons-mastered templates. I'm waiting to see if that level advantage is offset by my ability to jump into a battle as a mini-gank squad. The good new is, half the prerequisites for CH are built into the BH prerequisites (both require Scout Exploration-4).

The good thing is, Master BH is a formidable profession in its own right these days. I did the Melee Defense quest Sunday night in the Hidden Village, and was able to go one-on-one against even the Sith Shadow Thugs. TOUGH fight, but FAR better than before the CU, where I felt like I wasusing peashooters againstthem while they were blasting my butt to Kingdom Come. I'm still learning about my new skills (especially that cool-sounding "Duelist Stance/Improved Duelist Stance") while coming to grips with the fact that Spray Shot limps.

mCH for sure has no chance in pvp. The damage reduction for pets in pvp is too high and mCH offers no defenses. The pets don't do any damage and KD shot has 0% effect on a smart pvp-er. KD shot is a skill that should NOT be used in pvp vs someone that has kd recovery since he can get up instantly thus not taking any disadvantage of the KD. Plus at the moment pets cannot give states to your enemies since the specials are broken (and still after almost 2 weeks now aren't fixed).

I tried mbh/mch vs jedi and regular professions. Yes i won some fights vs jedi's. But that's because the jedi's where noobs and started hitting my 3x 10k ham pets instead of ignoring them and killing me in a couple of blows since i lack the defenses and firepower because of mCH. But everyone who ignores your pets will easily kill you since mCH isnt really a combat prof. It raised your clvl but that's all.

I dropped mCH for pistols for root and disarming shot, also rifleman gives such more huge firepower that your pets will NEVER get. I got one more day to decide to pickup ch again. I have, no had 3 mCH. Because i thought that mCH would be something valuable in combat again. But i was wrong.
