You know showing me that only pissed me off more, and made me miss galaxies more as well.
I don't know about any of you, butI am REALLY sick! of seeing MMOGs that invlove magic, and dragons and swordsmans and all that crap. Reading about it made me madder, level system BOO, no camping, blah blah blah, ITS THE SAME AS EVERY OTEHR MMOG OUT THERE!!!!!! I can play guild wras, Ragnarok, WOW, and EQ to the EXACT same effect, only just exploring different worlds.
Before the changed the Combat Galaxies was by far the most fun MMO and even RPG game I ever played. I never made so many friends, and had so much fun playing a game. Mixing professions, changing them whenever, not being stuck one on that character. (before they were broken - ) The professions were great cause there was a virety of play, ranged and melee, The only good MMO that actually had like guns and stuff. Hunting - solo or with a group - was always fun, never got old cause you DIDN'T have to pound at a hard enemy for 100 years, and if you did you always brought a group. Only thing that was messed up was pvp, due to buffs. I LOVED THE HAM SYSTEM, I loved the variety of weapon types, and armor to counter it. The GCW was fun cause we had a reason to piss people off. Crafters ment something and had fun at what they were doing, I know very few crafters who crafted just for money. I LOVED the variety of moves we had for each profession before the CU. This game was so indepth and a few months before the CU it was at its best, only need fixing and removing of things like buffs, which were pretty much an exploit.
What we are playing now is a sorry excuse to fix a game by turning it into the same as all the other crap out there when ithad more potential then any other MMOG. I wish sony knew this.... so many people would be happy, more would come back and more would tell thier firnds how great the game was if only sony brought back the old system and fixed it... the leveling system and new health bar crap, no armo, no resistance or weapon types, no point in professions like entertainer Creature Handler and non Combat professions.. IT SUCKS
If you ask me they shouldrename this Star Wars Galaxies Bountys Unleashed, and come out with SWG2, the old system with the fixes and patches that was (if I recall) NOT only ATTENDED, but also much wanted... this time no rushing it out though.

I completly agree with you on what you said about every mmorpg out there besides from galaxies invovles magic! Why cant there be more sci-fi games?
