I was thinking of becoming ch and something occured to me.
Say i tamed a level 70 rancor and gav it all the new sweet abilitys that i wanted.
Now say it ran into a level 75
with the new system if something of cl say 70 attacks a 75 its damage gets cut and it gets whooped.
Does this happen with pets too?
Because if it did it would mean that ch would be kindof useless unless u wanted a cupe witht he pet burst run to go fast :/
Anyway some1 get back to me, thanks

Yes, if you're level 70, and you attack a L75 enemy, you'll be at a strong disadvantage.
Similarly, if you have a L70 pet, and it attacks a L75 enemy, it will be at a strong disadvantage.
However, if you're a L80, and you're grouped with your L70 pet ( making if effectively a L80 group member ), that L75 enemy is at an extremely strong disadvantage.
It's a design decision by the devs, and not something unexpected.

okay i was just majing sure that it went along with my group lvl, was thinking by some odd chance it was pet vs pet lvl.
So it is worth getting a pet twice as strong as a player then. Mmmm ch here i come.

Yep, pets bypass the level disparity checks when they're grouped with you. I have a cl66 narglatch, and a cl68 gurrek. Both get mullered when tackling cl80s ungrouped, but when either one is grouped with me it can solo a cl80/81 and still have about 15-25% of its health left. And when I say solo, I mean solo; no help from me at all (not even heals).
