Thread: On the difference between having fun and being with the CH community.
I was actually called to play. Long story short, IT HURT and I did NOT like it!
I didn't piss and moan about how unfair it was that the other guys were bigger. I didn't write the coach a hate letter telling him what a stupid game it was and how he should change it to make it better FOR ME. I Stopped paying my 10 dollar a month dues (or however much it was) and quit playing the GAME because it wasn't fun.
For all the peepswho quit because the game stopped being fun for them, You did the right thing. More importantly, you have done THE ADULT THING!

When I was just wee wookiee I THOUGHT I wanted to join the football team. At the time our school was dirt poor and so we had to pay something like 10 bucks a month to keep the team going. Most of the time I spent on the bench, but I still had fun. Until.....

There is nothing wrong with expressing an opinion. Heck, that's what these forums are for...but for pity's sake people, showhow grown up you can be and express yourself in a civilized and dignified manner. Pissy, whiny lil babies is what got CH nerfed in the first place. Maybe you vets have forgotten that.
After pouring over the volumes of notes on the new publish nowhere did it state thatgaining pet experience and by extension new pet abilities was in any way shape or form mandatory.
If you want to get to the top of a mountain, then you have to do a bit of climbing. If the slope is too steep then sit at base camp, bundle up, sip your tea and enjoy the easy life. (sorry for the analogy. I just finished watching a Sir Edmund Hillary biography)
It says right on the box, Game experience my change during play, or some such thing. How hard is that to understand.
Flame, rant and counterpoint all you want, I'll never see it. I have reached the point where I really have nothing left for the CH community but my contempt. Being with the group of people that share my love of Creature handling is fun. Being around the bulk of the Creature handling Community ISN'T. I leave the CH boards for the same reasonI left the football team..PAIN
I 100% agree with you. This publish is awesome yet most of the posts about it on this forum are all negative because they dont want to do any work. So let me ask all the whiners out there, what else do you intend on doing with your CH abilities? Call pets out to look at them everyday? Nothing stopping you from doing that..... Im glad they are making the veteran CHs as well as the newbie CHs grind their pets up, because now we actually have something to do ingame with OUR PETS!
And to the devs, thankyou for this funnew system! You all did a very good job and i feel like it was well thought out.
Signed,
A Happy Customer.

I'm having tons of fun. Sorry others are not. It's all perspective, I guess. I know one thing, some work does not scare me away!

I'm having a great time. Grinding is evil, and if someone thinks what they do is "grinding" then, by definition, perhaps they should consider doing something else.
