Thread: question on going up in lvl's

ok so if i have a pet with lvl 1 vigorous health... without taming another pet can i simply use this pet enough to get it to lvl 2 then 3?

also if i tame a pet with a lvl 2 ability i cant tame that ability to a pet that doesnt have the lvl 1 version of it right?

1- No, you need to find a pet with vigorous health 2 and then one with3


2- correct

one more thing... when trying to learn the innate ability does it matter what lvl of stuff im making my pet hit? and thanks for answers

Not sure as I was only hunting lvl 78-80's



All I can tell you is that it don't seem random. I started grinding two chubas at the same time and they gave their abilities at the same time. I also did this with other creatures some gave em up simotaneously and others did not.........



So each MOB may have a set number of XP of fights until it gives up the special. This is just my observation, I did not test this.
