Well, I was a cheerleader throughout the CU (and still think the CU system was a lot more fun than the old one) and I was a cheerleader for the new CH system, which turned out to be (in my O so humble opinion) the best SWG had to offer, but now, well, I'm done. I've been playing for 2 years and had no plans to quit until I read the forums just now.
I made Jedi in September of 2004, and planned to make my second character a MCH/TKM, just based onmy early experiences with CH (second prof I ever mastered!). Ezzer has been taming babies on the Flurry server ever since, and I wasn't surprised to see that I stopped playing my Jedi Chilokh almost immediately. I tried no few professions during the hologrindbut nothing compared to CH. It has only gotten better the entire time I've been playing.
So, SOE, I'm done. I'm cancelling my account and leaving a game I've enjoyed immensely. I hope the friends I introduced to the game continue to enjoy it, but for me the core of what made my SWG experience one worth having is being removed without alternatives, adequate notice or even simple courtesy.
Apparently my time as a cheerleader for your game was directly connected to my time as a MCH. Imagine that.
