I am all for some changes, updates, bug fixes, and things that make SWG better.
However, people are upset for the lack of notice and the feeling of betrayal. Gone is my favorite proffession.
Honestly as my alt character is concerned I will give it a chance but it is not going to be easy at all on my main.

He is a MCH and there is no other profession, test center update or anything else for that matter that is going to help me understand why I and many other CH's have grinded 100's of millions of pet xp to learn all the specials and mature our high level pets. I have had CH ever since my first master and even though all the holo grinding and everything else we have had to go though, never did i ever drop it, sometimes if i needed the points it got all the way down to novice only to be raised back to master after the next grind. Never did I or anyone else imagine it would be gone forever as long as the game was still going.

These are our weapons, our armor, and our friends that we can call at any time and now they are being removed, ifthere is a reason to be upset we have it. Matter of fact not only that, it was the way it was handled that makes this such a hard blow, you (SOE-DEV’s) gave us hope and a way to get excited again over SWG with the new expansion, we were told there would be new rare pets, and if we were good enough a necklace that provides +10 on max CH level.

I bit and I bit hard, I was just two boxes from master BE when we were told that you had to be CL 80 to use the necklace, well I decided to drop BE and go BH to get the CL requirement I am now only 2 boxes away from Master BH.

However I changed my alt from a pure combat toon to a pure crafter so that I could have both and decided to give DE and Chef a try. Now having grinded out DE/Chef/BH and only two specials away from learning all the known pet specials, you tell me and many others that we are not important enough to keep our profession and then have enough nerv to say to us just give it a chance.

Sadly I have been playing since a day after launch of this game, I played the Beta and I was around for every screwy bug and problem this game has seen, I left for a couple of months for this CU to go though and because I just needed a break, I came back to rejoin my friends and for the reason I really missed the CH profession.

Major points off on the FAQ letter SOE provided in what will be remebered as a dark and evil Tuesday evening, with the info reguarding the CH’s, the BE’s, and the professions that will be gone forever, you tell us that you are sorry, you tell us that we are not important, and you tell us that we were a mistake in the first place, and then go on to say give this a chance you might like it.

Well we might like it, but we don’t like that way it came about, I never will and nor will so many.
