Maybethe decision was made by some suit in an ivory tower or maybe everyone got together and said the game no longer needs the CH and BE professions. Maybe you all truly believe that deleting our professions will make the game better. Doesn't really matter. You have to do what you're told to do or believe you have to do or whatever.However. While I am stunned that CH & BE are being deleted, I am saddened beyond words that not a single one of you have bothered to come to us and explain anything. I don't mean those meaningless platitudes put forth in the letter or the general requests to "try it, you'll like it". This has nothing to do with how great NGE might be.

Don't you get it? Your decision is affecting a couple of thousand people at least. Not some hypothetical 1% of the player population but real people. I've been to both Fanfests. Met and chatted with quite a few of you. I know who you are. If I were to meet you on the street, believe it or not, I'd recognize you.You're not faceless and nameless. Neither are we, and we deserve better.

No kind of explanation for why CH & BE are being removed? These focus groups mentioned in the letter - they said the game would be better if our professions were deleted? What better focus groups than Fanfest and these forums, and yet I've never seen anyone say that the way tomake SWG better is to get rid of CH/BE.I know most of you are game players. So I know you can understand what this means to us who are veteran CH and BE.

Don't you see? We've just been told that the professions we've invested over 2 years in, professions we love and enjoy, that they aren't worth keeping. More, by virtue of the fact that no onehas saidanything to us, we're being told that we aren't worth keeping either. Oh, sure, there have been some generic statements that you want veterans to stay. But what we - the CH and BE communities - what we are personally being told is that we're simply 1% of the population, and we are expendable. We're just collateral damage. Too bad, so sad, now stop bothering us. Your silence speaks volumes.

It's terribly sad that CH & BE professionsare being deleted. It's even sadder that not one of you thinks enough ofus as peopletoexplain why. Or to just say, We understand and we're sad too. I guess we are just facelessnon-entities to you. That's saddest of all.
