A guildmate and i have gotten into a match, he says a NCH can use up to lvl 22 pets, i say up to 12. Which of us is right? or is it that neither of us is right and if so what is the max lvl of pets for a novice CH?

Novice CH max lvl of pets is 12.

non CH = max level 10...novice CH = max level 12

also i think ferocity plays a part in this too..i put a post on this couple of days ago about not being able to give the player his pets back after i tamed them for him,,the reply i got also said this can also be because of the pets skin ? sorry but not sure what he means by that, dose anyone knows what he means by pet skin

Any creature that shows up as red on the radar is aggressive, anyone that shows up as yellow is not. To be able to tame/control an agressive pet you need Taming II or BE clothes with +25 Taming Vicious. If the wild creature is aggressive and a BE can make that type of creature, it too is aggressive and can only be used by a CH with either of the above.
