The first day I pulled out my little Great Plains Stalker he surprised me as he attacked the first yellow dot he could find. I was shocked as he attacked one of the butterfly workers outside of coronet and even though he was just a baby by the time I got over there the butterfly's health was mostly gone.
I stored him not wanting him to attack anything else. I wanted to say bad boy for attacking yet apart of me was delighted by this pets aggressiveness.
Already he is becoming one of my favorite pets.

Nice, I haven't seen that happen in a long time when pulling a pet out.

Yup-yup! These cats are GRUMPY!!! That agressive behavior will continue into adulthood. It adds a lil "personality" to these beauties. BUT..if there are things about that you dont want to attack, or need a lil set up time before you do....Kepp em on a short leash...AKA keep your follow macro ready to go!
GRATS ON A TERRIFIC TAME!!

No secret really
It just takes time and patience to find these rare creatures. Tivo's waypoints that he provided after he found his gave me the first areas to start looking followed by marking hot spots where I found more then one spawn on Radiant.
The day I found my Stalker I found a total of 4 spawns. From my experience when the spawns are like this for other creatures it shows that for some reason the spawn rate is really good making it a very good chance of getting that rare baby. Also everytime I found a spawn I also immedietally checked all my waypoints for a 2nd spawn. 4 spawns for the Great Plains Stalker was unheard of and ironically I found my first one as I was heading to log off in my corellian guild hall.
Also this might surprise you but am not a ranger.

it is pretty amusing watching them bolt as soon as they leave the datapad. Mine surprised me to. I called it to show off near the nyax poi and wham, the thing went straight for a lair of wrixes. Luckily me and my comando friend saved him but it was a scary experiance.

Yep, they will attack the 1st critter they see when you pull em out of data pad. Mine have not attacked NPCs ever, just critters. I have 2 swamp-stalkers and they do the same thing. Seems the GPs and Swamp stalkers only kill 1 thing, then return to you. It's like they don't like to wake up and be bothered until they get a taste of blood. (Kinda like me in the mornings until I get my 1st cup of coffee.) Congratulations on your great tame, and good luck in your future hunts.

Greetings,
I am always ready to use the follow command when I call my Great Plains Stalker. It intervenes when the cat decides to go berserk. This pet is one of my favorite tames. The shear size and beautiful Crimson Razor Cat color (atleast for mine) touches my heart every time I see her. Actually, she has inspired Novice CH's to go searching for their own Crimson Razor babies.
Congrats on such a terrific tame. You patience and persistence has certainly paid off.
Good Luck to All,
