I just got some BE clothes that give +25 to tame of wild / vicious creatures. Do these allow me to tame a higher level creature than my basic level will allow, or do they just increase my chances to succesfully taming creatures?

they increase your chances or succesfully taming. also it helps alot if you have no skills in taming vicious.

for example im currently 1112. no skills yet to tame a vicious creature even if its lvl 22. if i put my +25 pants i now have the option to tame that vicious lvl22

they don't seem to help master's IMO. i still have to try 6 times to tame a normal rancor sometimes... sometimes i get them on the first try. this is regardless of wearing my +25 hat. i think i would need it.. if i ever saw a bull though.

They do help Masters with taming success. It is just not as apparent as with non masters. I notice a difference without them. Not so pronounced on run of the mill tames but for high end rare's and not so common I can deffinately tell when I forget to put on that silly hat.

Now, the real question is...do MULTIPLE BE clothings with +25 taming STACK?

I have a Sage Hood, and a Sigil Waiste Wrap = both with +25 taming wild/vicious.

Standard Master CH skill mods are +50 taming Vicious, +90 taming Wild.

With both clothes equiped, the skill mods show +50/100 taming Vicious, +90/+140 taming Wild - it looks like the values stack.

Has anyone verified if they DO or DON'T stack together?

I've read some post awhile back about general BE clothing skill mods, and someone said that only the first 25 points are actually used.

Extra modifiers will show up, however only the first +25 counts.

Whoa...wait a second here...

You mean to tell me that you can ONLY have one +tame/wild creature piece of clothing on??

I have pants, hat, shirt, and a cloak with Taming modifiers so like my viscious is 97 and my wild is 127. It show up on my skills list as well. Why doesnt this work?

I mean if it shows up on the list all added up then why the heck wont it work in game? **edit** is up with this buggy game anyway (sorry, spent money on all those clothes).

I know you cannot have plus taming modifiers on the same piece of clothing add up but where does it say that different clothes slots cannot have the same modifier..../boggle. This game just gets worse as time goes by. Please tell me I am wrong and that I didnt waste my money on diff clothing items. But knowing SWG I am sure it doesnt work (what a suprise, something doesnt work in this game)

I see a huge difference. Except for one stubborn craggy bolma, I have never taken more than two or three attempts to train anything, including two screechers on the first try.

This was confirmed by the Devs a while ago. There is a hard cap on any + skill of 25. Your toon will show more than +25 when you look at the skill tree but it is only +25. The exception to this is that food and drink bonuses will stack on top of the +25.

Multiple clothes will add their bonuses. However only +25 of the total bonus will count as we said.

As Hawat said, this is stated by the devs, and has futher confirmation by various correspondents.
