Anyway, my friend, who is not a CH keep on telling me about I can enlarge my pets w/ drug and stuffs to make it bigger than normal, and crazier too. Is this a myth? or is it true?

There is food to enhance it's HAM (though I've never used it).

If you take your pet out at least once a day, it grows faster to maturity.

I have been told, that the more you use your pet, it CAN grow a bit larger...I cannot verify this...but my 70th lvl BE Graul is QUITE large (I used him almost non-stop for over 2 months).

I don't know about any food to make them crazier - you can also "enrage" them, or "embolden" them- by commands

back in the early days ( im talking real early july/aug of 03) you were able to get your pets larger by feeding them foraged foods and keeping them out when they were lil. this led to pekos that filled the sky overhead and rancors the size of brontosauri thus there was a halt to the process....(thank goodness imo)

I don't remember any super-sized rancors, but in those days you could tame a giant peko-peko. I wasn't a CH at the time, but all the pets I saw were normal sized for their models. Some of the models were subsequently shrunk (like gurreks used to be slightly larger than a grand wrix), but none of the animals were larger at launch due to care by the best of my knowledge.

When I first read the manual when I bought the game, it says that pets can grow to above normal size by feeding them and taking care of them. I experimented with it using my Ravenous Torton. I fed him like mad and played with him like crazy, and there is no difference in size or stats between him and a wild one. What a disappoinment...

Yep, I remember them ignoring that question in Beta. I don't remember if it appeared in the Beta manual, or the early holocron, or what it was, but they said they were looking into it. I'm not kidding.

Pets only grow until they reach their final CL level, and no particular pet is any bigger or smaller than any other pet of the same kind. Even with BE pets, once they reach full grown they stay that size in CL and physical size. The only way to enhance their stats is to feed them foods with stats. There are special pet foods made just for their ham which you need to drag and drop on em to make them work, then there's the regular foods which they eat from your inventory when you select "feed" from their radial menu. The regular foods also give them the small stat boost. (or they used to at least)

Anything said in the manual is quite different now with all the changes the game has undergone.

As far as normal pet growth, calling them every day and feeding them every day does not affect their growth. What does affect the growth is not logging in. If you don't play, they don't grow in level. Some pets grow faster than others too. Usually if I catch twins, they grow at the same rate but I have caught pets from 2 lairs on the same day and they each reached maturity on different days, sometimes many days apart.
