Thread: Creature spawns on the Radiant Server

Heyas everyone.

I play a CH on the Radiant server. But lately, I have noticed that depending on what planet I go to, there seems to be, in some areas, that there is hardly a creature spawn. I see some humanoid spawns, but very very few creature spawns. For example, I was on Rori last night looking for the Mammoth Bearded Jax. I left Reustuss (sp?) and headed south towards the lower part of the map. Now, after about probably 1000m out of the city, the spawns got fewer and fewer. It got to the point that after I was almost to the bottom of the map, I didn't see one blessed creature spawn or lair. Not one, and that was after a half an hour of riding my mount. I decided to turn to the west and head that way to see if anything was around. Again, nothing. After two hours of TRYING to look for something to tame, I gave up and camped out.

I went to Talus today to look for some Huf Duns and again, after I left Daeric City, the spawns were down to absolutely nothing. A few humanoids here and there and maybe one Savage Guf Drolg. But other than that, nothing. It seems that lately, there is next to nothing spawning in the wild unless you happen to leave the city where you'll catch the creatures that new people use to kill to get some skills. And I travelled everywhere on the planets and moons. And I come up with the same results. Kind of makes it a moot point if you're a Creature Handler with no creatures to tame in the wild.

Has anyone else encountered this on the Radiant Server or any server for that matter?

This is a common and know problem. It is caused by two opposite conditions. Too many people on aplanet and too few. lol Seriously, if too many people are on a planet thatis not know to have a lot of people on it you end up with a "Ring of Death" around the mission terminal cities and nothing in the wild. When there is excessive load the first thing to go are thenon-player generated lairs and random spawns. The other problem is on seldom visited planets, if no one shows up no lairs spawn. If you are the first person through an area, you will see no spawns. It was not as apparent when eveyone walked. It seems to take up to 20mins forrandom lairs to spawn after you get to an area where no one has been since reboot. That was why you would see no spawns on a way out but spawns on the way back.

First off if you take a vehicle you may outrun the spawn ,thus not seeing anything while on the vehicle . go slow and take yer time . Got me 4 GSPs today by just trolling along and waiting for lairs to spawn .
