Heres the deal. My wife has been making train and trash pets. Now we realize that the higher up you go in ch the more commands and the more exp you get per pet. However Her 'client' is offering 10k for 50 pets?!!!??. What would someone around 2 2 2 3 in CH pay for 50 pets they can just pull out of a bag and train for exp?

I'd say 10k is too low, 50k would be a somewhat more reasonable price.

This is the wife. I told the guy when he first asked that there were some on my vendor that were low level, basically crap/decor petsfor 250 each. He went and bought them all, then later on bugged me until i finally said ok, whatever...i'll do it until i get the last box of sampling. Right now i'm 2-3-4-3 on BE. I figured up earlier yesterday which would be more beneficial on xp, making pets or using my grind macro. In the time it takes me to make a pet, not counting getting the dna, i can run through my macro twice. I get 150 xp off the 'highest' pets I can make and in each run on my macro (using 3 tools) i get 315. To make a pet it takes 5 samples, make the dna template, then after that use the template, x amount of flora food and x amount of creature food (i've been using meat cause it's coming out of my ears lol). On average it takes me about 1-2 minutes to make a pet, compared to 30 seconds on my grind macro. At his level of CH for a bag of 50 he can average about 60k xp by the time he finishes the bag. Where as I only get about 7500 (the critters) + 2000 (the templates) in a long period of time. I've mastered CH and I know how 'boring' it can be at times and how much of a pain it is. In the time it took me to finally finish CHi had mastered pistoleer, medic, dr, fencer and tk. But that's because half the time i didn't pull out my pet. When i finally got to the last few thousand xp, i decided to hit dath and do rancors, craggy bolmas, basically anything in my path. Only took me about 1 hour (had trouble finding spawn surprisingly enough), but I finished it on Singing Mountain Clan NPC's (that's after i died in the nightsister cave about half way down). No buffs, but being master tk and using a lvl 46 pet with 60 kinetic resist it was quick. I told this guy the easiest way to do it was use a somewhat low level sturdy pet with high kinetic and hit a higher level planet. If he were to look hard enough he'd be able to find a BE pet that's level 30-40 with 50+ kinetic resists and 10k + ham and have it mastered in a couple days on Dath, Yavin or Endor. Getting on the average 1k + xp. There's no way I would've been able to keep my sanity just pulling pets out of a bag, training them, then destroying them. lol But, there's my input and side of it.

My Zachnafian toon is a Master BE and CH 2-1-3-3 and I've been a Master BE for a long time. I charge 1k per level of my pet. So if you go out and you make alot of CL3's for him to tame/train then I personally would charge him 3k per pet so roughly 150k for 50...

For him, and I know you would rather have the business, but for him and all CH's, I don't think sitting there taming/training is the way to level CH. I always group with some friends and run missions. I let everyone start attacking and then I make sure that my pet hits each creature atleast once. If I'm by myself, I go out hunting quenkers and I mask scent, pull out my pistol and shoot one... it seems like with mask scent on, only the quenker I attack will attack me.. therefore I sit back and attack it and then once I get in down near death, I have my pet hit it once. I can't remember how much xp I get but I can tell you I got CH 2-1-3-3 in 2 buff sessions.

But back on topic. 10k is way too low for the amount of work that is involved in getting DNA. Even if it's Spinflaps or Corellian Butterflies, you will need 500 samples to make 50 pets not counting all the failed attempts at getting the DNA, the buff that you have to get to allow you to sample without having to rest (or foods if you go that route) and not counting the failed attempts while crafting. As a BE, don't sell yourself short. If he doesn't like your price, then put them on the bazaar for 1-2k each and then tell him if he wants them, he knows where they are at.

this and ch macros at city's are what make ch boring. i did it the old fashioned way before everyone started jumping into ch and it was the most fun ive had lvling. all the other professions (except be) are boring til ya get master. every box of ch is exciting cause i can go out and tame new pets with each box and cant wait for the next one.

once you can call a level 20 pet, get a good be pet and stop wasting time taming/training. He is right voritor hunters are a great way to get ch xp. I also hear that the geo cave is good?
