I know it's not much but check out the cool patch notes on TC, I hope this stuff goes live soon like...
* Allowed survey/sampling while on mounts
*Decreased starport wait time to 60 seconds
*We now allow a dancer/musician buff simultaneously
*Fixed a problem where warcry would stack multiple times.

I remember when TH said changeing it to 5 min when they did shuttles would "kill the immersion"

true Sio but I have to laugh at that.

JTL actually did it. I never take a shuttle between planets, and usually just travel. It saves a lot of time.

Personally I would have preferred an immersive ride inside a public shuttle. Maybe just five minutes in a room with generic star scenes outside the windows and a holochess table to play against other passengers with. Maybe evena room to pull out pets and have a friendly little duel on the bus. I can understand where that is probably no longer a practical solution with how used to insta-travel people have gotten, though.

Oh how I miss fishing off boats in EQ. Then came the scion portals and POP books.
Immersion has to be built into a game and not demanded. It is much like a knot head superior demanding respect for incometence.
As a side note you would love the Wing Rider stuff in WOW Vert. Taking bats and maticores is great and fun. Blimps and ships are abbreviated but hey we can't have everything. A 10 minute boat ride would be serene. Yet the fast and furious whiners would go insane waiting.

LOL, No one is playing EQ2. Have you seen the shelves?
I hope to continue giving positive input for the forums but frankly playing the game is tedious.
We were called POKEMON masters for insta "I choose you calls". The only thing left now is the "gotta collect them" all tamer aspect of CH.
We need more. Like the CURB. We need devs who care. Like JFreeman. We need the combat documents. Like we were told. We need the injustice of that past year fixed. Like Thunderheart inferred. We need a few lurker Red Names to post. Like they want to hear our concerns or even pay attention.

On a similar note...
I remember when they released a patch for planetisde and it contained the test server 45 second HART timer, now as we were waiting 10 mins for the HART, well, what can you say, mucho fun. Of course once they relaised it had gone live they put the timer back to 5 mins as a compromise as the code shouldn't have been live.... still, it did kinda kill off all the LFG in the sancturys. Shame really as getting into a group now means you tend to rely on your Outfit or people you know.

I wonder if they mean they allowed it on creature mounts or vehicle mounts as well.
