Hello ever one , I have been watching for some time now in game and here. Yes still waiting for some form of insight into our problem. We all know creature handler is in effect unable to join the combat community. For those creature handlers reading this , you may know where im going with this already. But in my opinion here is the facts as they stand.
First off the question, what happen to all the creature handlers? Ok sure there is still some here, and sure there are some that join us from time to time. However there was a time when most of the combat community was a creature handler. So where did they go? And why? Creature handler was by far very strong at first, back when you could call many rancor at the same time. So the proffesion was reduced in power . You could then call 3 pets at one time. Then the proffesion had yet another change to it. Max pet lvl's and max pet lvl's out.
At this time the proffesion was still going strong. Few had complaints about their changed proffesion. We were still an important member to the combat community. How ever this was soon to change. With the introduction of enhanced food, enhanced buffs , and the high tech , high resist armor know as comp , creature handler was out classed at this time. While that was the main blow, the proffesion recieved at the same time another. The resist were lowered on all wild pets, and caps on the resist were placed on bio pets as well.
So what happen here? A great exodus from creature handler happened. Why? It wasnt so much that the proffesion wasnt the top tier combat profesion any more. It was because it was made useless in pvp. Made useless in places like Geno caves , corvette, death watch bunker. In the above mentioned , Our pets last a whole few secounds. Kinda discourageing to see the firstmob in the place tear your pet to shreds like it was a brown paper bag that fell into a puddle. In pvp same deal but worse , the pet is often ignored all together as they advance to kill you. Why? The pet as no hope of doing any thing to them at all. Oh sure your pet might add a poison to the target, which is worthless. Or might get that dease in there, which is also worthless.
Fact- pet damage is unable to be considered effective in any way with the current system of pvp - or in high end places DWB,ect.
If I had 3 lvl 50 pets , and took them agaist another player. would not matter one bit. The player would come for me, in pvp it will be a combat stacker- which will kill any non jedi , who does not have stacked defenses. Or a jedi will come along same as the stacker and wiped me and my pets out in a matter of secounds. 3 lvl 50 pets would not make one differanceto the out come of the fight. 3 - 5 hits from a swordsmen or jedi and my 11k ham pet is dead. Ok we know that creature handler is a combat proffesion. If as a creature handler - my pets are my weapons - I say I need a upgrade bad, cause my weapons dont compare to the other proffesions in that their effectiveness is 0 in pvp , and high end places such corvette, geno cave, DWB, where other porffesions weapons are effective.
Dont get me wrong, I have read many things here on the boards. some have developed intresting methods to use pets in combat. But in the end our pets dont measure up in any way compared to the templates- combat stacker , or jedi. Which classes are both pvp and pve dominate.
Combat revamp ? Will be intresting to see what happens there. Hope that we are taken into consideration. Alot of people are mad. I am not mad, I am patiently awaiting the day when creature handler rejoins the combat community in effectiveness . I want to see the days that creature handler is respected again.

PVP. Any pet(s) we can control (even high-end BE ones) would get their ass stomped in pvp. Not to mention having vitality loss from being deathblowed. Why would anyone use an ultra-rare pet like a bull rancor in PVP when it would suffer vit loss every time?
Pet damage to other players in PVP is definitely something to laugh at. Players can't even keep up with the damage to kill someone somtimes.
So basically the answer to your question is PVP.
