So I finally decided to CH, tried it once before but I dropped it becuase I'n my opinion this is not a profession that should invlove mindless grinding. I've been a padywhack for about 2 1/2 weeks now. I always wanted to go CH so I decided I would try it out again with my alt. After a while I found myself caught in the mindless grinding mode, trying to level as fast as possible.

I went to naboo to search for a t21, and while I was there I figured I would do some more grinding, since I had 2 hours left on my buff. I took 2 plains tusk cat missions and hoped on my swoop. I got to the first lair an called out my recenlty BE bantha. I noticed there was a female and a male tusk cat baby, usually I just kill off the babies and sick the bantha on everything else and move on. This time I put the bantha away(I hate that thing) and dispatched all the adults. It took me several tries but I tamed both of them. This feeling I don't really now how to describe came over me when trying to tame them. I just tame and release, don't bother with giving my pets names, move on and kill some more. I just couldn't do it with these 2 new babies. I instantly forgot about grinding, and spent like the next hour trying to think of names, lol, for these 2. I named the male traless, and the female sulara. Since then my xp gain has dropped dramatically. I'm not concerned with getting master ch in a week or less anymore.

I'm haven't been getting missions, or using my swoop, or sologrouping anymore when I work on CH . I just take sulara and we start off on one side of a planet and work our way to the other side. I have stopped grinding CH and since then it's by far the most enjoyable profession I have done. So much fun that I haven't logged on my padywhack for 2 days now.

Just wanted to share my experience, that is all.

Cool

that is what I always liked the most about ch finding and taming creatures, I cant tell you how many times I have tamed pets that I had as nov ch just because of the fine memories I had back then lol

the ch experience tree should not be a grind but a time of growth lol when everything will seem new and worlds travelled will be looked upon as you slowly travel across a planet, instead of flying by on a swoop looking at nothing but the blue wp arrow.

enjoy it, being novice ch is like being a child again, treasure it because someday you shall be an old mch and wish those days of wonder were here again :-)
