Thread: Another bug?

Sold an Advanced Protocol Droid with Weapon/Droid Station, and Item Storageto a guild mate. She later tells me she can not access her hopper in her Weapon/Droid Crafting Tool when near the droid. Is this a known bug, or something new?

Hoppers aren't part of the tool, they are part of the actual crafting stations. I don't think our crafting modules have hoppers, as I don't think I've ever been able toaccess it through there. To access the hopper in the station at my shop, I also have to store my crafting R3 as it seems to overide the shop one.
Did I make that understandable? It sounds good in my head anyway....

For some reason my pets keep running off and attacking stuff. I don't meed they're being aggroed and defending, I mean they're just taking off and runing 80 meters to something and attacking it.
They aren't even attaking thing appearing red on my map. Earlier my pet took off and attacked 6-7 NPC Imperials. I had no TEF or anything, they were yellow on my map. In fact I had a camp near them not long before that. I went to do a mission that was close by and my pet just took off after the Imperial NPCs.
Someone told me I had Guard on, so I checked it numerous times and he still does it.
Any ideas?

Okay gonna take a bit to explain this. I was visited by the old man. The attacked by the sith. I looted the waypoint datapad, but was unable to read it. Kept getting the message that I needed to loot it first even though it was in my backpack. A friend told me to just wait, that was a known issue and they would attack again. Well, they did. Problem was, I was AFK. The incapped me, then looted the crytal back from me saying they would return it to the rightful owner or something like that. When I came back I ran around the area and found them still close by. I killed them, and got another datapad along with some ore. This time when I tried to use the pad it tell me that I can not understand what is in it. Blah, I get mad. I wait. I get visited by the old man yet again. Same thing, I get the crystal from him. I've now been attacked a total of 4 times by sith. Each time I loot a datapad (now 4 in inventory) yet I can use none of them. They all say the same thing. I can't understand them. What is the deal?

try putting a disk in an equipped backpack and then taking it out again. i had a similar problem and that fixed it.

I've tried that. I was even told to drop in my house then pick back up. But that was all to fix the "you must loot first" error. The error changed to something about I can't understand the data.

I don't know if anyone else is getting this bug, but it I sure as hell am.
When I try to slice something, I get to the third window where it says that I've successfully cut the correct wire and all that jazz. I cut the second wire and theslicing screen disappears! It wont let me slice anything after that either because it says that I'm "already slicing something".

Get as specific with it as you can. I haven't been doing too much slicing in the last couple of days, but what I have done, I haven't had this happen. Basicly make sure you specify what you're slicing when it happens. If you post what it was here I'll see what I can do about reproducing it. (I'm a Master Weaponsmith and one of my buds is a Master Armorsmith).

I managed to slice 12 armour pieces riding my speeder out to the village last night without any difficulty.......

Not really much to say. My in-game wife gave me three pieces of armor to slice... I took out three clamps, three AUKs and a laser knife from crates, started to slice one... got to the second wire screen, cut the second wire and the screen disappears. It eats the clamp and two knife uses, but doesn't use any of the AUKs.
I tried closing all my windows, so it wasn't lost behind another. And I tried re-logging, which didn't help either.
I've been slicing armor for like... seven months now. So I do know what I'm doing. Still, I haven't seen this bug in quite awhile. I remember this exact same bug from about a year ago...

Thanks for bringing this up and as said, if you've not already, post in the latest live bug thread with as much info that you can (character name, server, location at the time, what you were doingetc.). I've not had any troubles slicing lately, but I'll look out for this.
