creatures you fight must be at or above your cl lvl not the pets, also you must let pet do most of fighting, yet be very cafeful you are not aggro'd and killed the creatures family and friends, since last pub they will attack you directly ignoring you pet. best bet is to join high lvl hunting group while you can
A pet only needs to land one point of damage to get full xp. As long as you keep the aggro, the creature will ignore your pet.
Best bet is to join high level groups.

Hey all,
So far I've found that taming and training commands to my pets has given me xp. After they've learned commands once I no longer receive xp
While learning how to use my pet in combat and sending them in for attack against creatures equal to or just above thier level I am only receiving 1 point of xp. I was figuring that once they get bigger then I can use them against larger opponents. I then realized that in the new pub coming up, creatures will only grow larger with xp. Hmmmm???? If I'm only getting 1 xp per combat won't that take a while?
How can I use my current pets in combat to thier full potential for max xp benefit? Do I need to just keep finding, taming, training and releasing low level pets?
Any help appreciated

Get into a group with a CL80 doing missions. Let pet attack you do not you will get 6K+ CH exp if you do not attack. Now get to 0-0-0-3 you can now use 2 pets at same time.
Now get in another CL80 group that multi-pulls train each pet with a different attack command send pet1 to mob-A and pet 2 to mob-B you now get 6k+ exp per pet.

If I let the creatures fight at my combat level they will die in about1 second. This could be worked around when creatures grew over time but now that it's growth is based on xp how will we get the xp having them fight creatures 10+ levels above thier own???

Your pet, when the next publish comes out will be tamed initially at full stats and CL, only the size of the pet will increase with xp as well as the number of trainable specials etc, at least this is how ui understand it.
