they are mate, head out to talus, a city (its a POI) durbin i think its called. Like you i ran around, btw the town is usually filled with the buggers, and they are all aggro, any way, fly around and ull find a nest/hive outside town, and you can either kill the ones out and wait for a baby to spawn or keep flying around and looking..

i tamed one about a week ago, so i knwo they are still out there.

Come on over to Soria on Talus. We've a number of CH and because we live there, we get to grab a load of baby GSP's. I'm sure someone would be willing to sell one if you asked.

Of course I'm now on the Professions forum and not all galaxies have a city called Soria, doh.

Same principle goes for any galaxy I'd guess. Head on over and talk to one of the residents of a city on Talus, their CH's are bound to like GSP's and have some available.

I have noticed GSP's spawn with regularity in the swamp SE of Dearic. I spent quite a bit of time there searching for Mire Marauders and ran into GSP's all the time, both lairs and random spawns.I would also run into them when going from Dearic to the Giant Fynock cav to the NE

I actually caught a 5th one to add to my collection last night before the patch. Just happened to run in to it while checking my fungus harvester, outside of the Imp base. It was the first time i've ever seen one so far north, so i just counted myself lucky and added another GSP to my kitty collection!

use the excellent site WWW.SWGcreatures.com for any info on animals - also gives waypoints to spawn sites - its helped me a lot.
