Hello, I have tried to reach master ch for some time now, but i cant seem to get good xp.

Do you have any idea on where to hunt with my pets?

For the record, i think ch is a cool profession and the pets help me out by taking the aggro while i spam my knockdown and one-hand hit-3

Its Different from getting exp for anyother class, you need speed killing to get good exp, for example; you are soloing alair but it takes 20 mins, but you get max weapon exp of 4-5k per mob and all the money. As a Ch each mob gives 400exp. In a group you kill 20 mobs not 6-9 in 20mins but you get 10th of the weapon exp and money, but you get 400 exp of each mob times 20 not times 6-9, so join groups that are seemingly too large, less weapon exp and money BUT they fly through each lair and every mob of every lair gives you max exp rapidly. With weapons exp the more damage you do to each mob the more exp you get, with CH you get the same exp of each mob every time whether you a little bit of damage or all of it.

I joined sharnaff groups in Coronet, lots of mobs lots of lairs. Every player in each group gets 2 mission lairs, the more players in the group the more lairs there are and also the QUICKER they get killed and move on, you get the same CH exp per mob whatever happens. So quick killing large groups get rapid CH exp.

Next and only other issue, is what pet to use, I used a level 10 carrion spat, CH exp works as the bigger the difference in cl level between the targeted aniaml and your pet the more exp you get. So if you send a carrion cl 10 on a Rancor and it hits it for "one point" of damge you could get between 800 and 1200 ch exp points. The only problem with a level 10 pet is, if it get incapped you dont get exsp at all. So you might want to get a slightly tougher pet with some kinetic, a little less exp but tough enough to take a few knocks. Thats it. With a cl 20 pet i got the 140k 4thlevel box in a day off 3-4 sharnaff group hunts, you need 4 of those to finish up. you can rack up 20 - 50k ch exp of one sharnaff hunt with a cl20 pet or less. I got to 2 2 2 3 with just a cl10 carrion spat, and all the rest with a cl20 kwi BE pet with a bit of kinetic resistance on it.

I'm having the same problem. I couldn't figure out what profession to try out once I got bored of heavy swordsman, so I let a holocron decide. I'm not a hologrinder, in that I want to actually enjoy the profession.

That being said, I went all over looking for good xp with a CL10 minor sludge panther last night. The most xp I could get per kill was around 600 for some piket longhorns and grassland voritor trackers. I can handle the mobs solo, I just wait until they've got aggro locked on me and then have the pet attack.

Heck, I can handle just about anything solo (32 GDK solo kills and counting) - what's out there that would give a noob CH the 1000-2000xp per kill that I see some folks here talk about?

Hitting a Rancor with a CL10 pet with give about 800-1200 and Bull Rancor more and an Enraged Rancor even more than that. You really need to hit the 500ish exp mobs quicker - speed killing is what you will get advancment quickly.

I reached MCH by using lower level pets on lower level creatures and NPCs. Work fast less experience per encounter but over all more because of the fast pace and safer. Less down time and expence for healing. Also send pets in and shoot pets only needs to do about 5% damage to get full experience. I would just head out in the wilderness of naboo and corellia and go to town on everything. I use dragonette babies when they got older I replaced them with more babies. Send babies in and shoot worked great for me.
