I just got novice creature handler and novice rifleman and am hoping to level the two together, but as i went out to try out my new CH-skills i found them more than laggin...
I was hoping to get a pet for tanking and then lying a few meters back and sniping, but the pets i can handle arent nearly up to the task... at what point can i expect this to happend? i already got the bioclothes and ive tamed a few minor creature but neadles to say they suck big-time (my dwarf nuna isnt quite cutting it against kaduu and tusk cats)... any tips would be greatly appreciated

You're not going to get a natural tame who can put up with much punishment until you can tame at about the CL 20 level. For a serious tank who can keep the aggro under control, a boar wolf (CL 25, aggro, native to Endor) is the best midlevel pet in the game right now.
