Are Faction Pets affected by CH passive bonuses and active abilities?

Um what passive bonouses and active abilities???

we get no bonouses and our only ablilites are to order the pet and embolden/enrage our pets.

And you can have out 3 pets and an AT-ST if you want.
(Well I think you're supposed to be able to)
